Havoc 04-01-2006 03:02 AM

'Yea,' Kaira said then stepped forward and dragged Art along. The rope cut a bit in her throat, but not very badly.
It was supposed to look like Art had her under control with the rope. And even though it would certainly look like that to any bystanders, she would bet Art was having a very diffrent experience.
'Do you know how to find him in here?' she asked him as she stood still infront of the door, waiting for Art to open it. 'It looks kinda big...'

Dave 04-01-2006 08:48 AM

Art shrugged. "I have a good sense of direction. So, even though I don't know the exact route to take, I know the general direction to move in."
Art pushed the door open and led the others inside.
The lobby was as deserted as the outside. They slowly walked down the hall and Art led them down the first left turn .....

Havoc 04-01-2006 09:06 AM

Kaira sniffed around as they walked in the long hallways of the hospital. It sure was quiet. As they went a few more hallways, Kaira put her nose up in the air and sniffed around a bit, hoping to see if she could pick up Charger's scent. But all she could smell was the steril smell of the hospital.
Eventualy they came to the elevators, in a large lobby where only half a dozen people wandered around, barely noticing the small group.
'Now what?' she wondered, not knowing where to go. She was about to drag him into another hallway without waiting for Art to reply, when suddenly she caught up with a fermiliar scent. The typical musky scent Charger carried with him. Quickely she went in the direction it came from, leaving the lobby and entering another empty hallway. There were doors everywhere, and Kaira followed the hallway all the way to the back, then stood infront of the door on the right. She looked up to Art.
'I think he's in here,' she said.

Gretin 04-01-2006 11:49 PM

Olivia had been casually reading some of the posters, notices, etc on the walls in the lobby when she noticed Kaira and and Art entering. She looked sharply, as she was sure the tiger had spoken, but they both left up another hallway almost immediately. She thought it through and quickly realised the possible link; she had sensed an anthro-tiger in the hospital not long before and now this tiger had shown up. She thought about contacting Slade again, but decided that since it was possibly irrelevant, it wasn't worth it. For now, she'd satisfy herself with observing the movements of this tiger from here in the lobby. And then she sensed something else... Silvia was coming!
She swiftly walked through one of the doorways and out of sight, just as Silvia came out of one of the elevators.
Silvia had finally got through the check up, and was wanting to get out as soon as possible; she had no great fondness of hospitals. She strode out, hesitated momentarily, then walked out the exit of the lobby and down the hallway that would eventually lead to the outside.

T-nex 04-02-2006 12:41 AM

"He has?? I thought so. He'll pay." Akky said, not sounding too surprised, "Should have known humans are not to trust."

He looked at Fisher.

"And i supose you hold some great power or what?" He asked out of curiosity, "Have you ever met the anthros or?"

-----

Kix and Krisha remained outside a bit.

"So uh... What now?" Kix asked.

"I don't know, why don't we go inside and scare off a few people?" Krisha asked.

"Uh..." Kix said not knowing what to say.

She shrugged, and teleported herself inside the hospital, Krisha did the same, and then they took the same route Kaira had taken. But then they saw a female walk in the direction(Silvia). Krisha and Kix stopped up a bit, looking at her.

"Hi... Have you seen a white tiger around?" Krisha said to her, just to freak her out(a human would probably do so if they met a talking cat.

"I didn't know you were being serious!!" Kix said harshly, "Argh!"

She looked up at silvia.

"Um... This is a dream..." she tried to say as an excuse.

Dave 04-02-2006 12:14 PM

Fisher laughed again. "Sure, I got 'powers.' I can do a bunch of cool shit, if that's what you mean."
He straightened out. "But. You and I are after two members of the same travelling troop. What say you and I ... " he coughed lightly. " ... join forces?"
---
Art followed helplessly as Kaira led him about the hospital. He was astounded that none of the doctors around seemed to be noticing anything.
They stopped in front of a door. "I think he's in here," said Kaira.
Art shrugged. It seemed to be right. He reached for the knob and opened the door.
---
Dave reached a large building that he could only assume was the hospital. He entered and found the lobby to be strangely empty.
"Damn. Maybe ... shit, I'll have to wait here." Because, of course, Dave didn't consider that he could just wander the hospital and find Charger.

Havoc 04-03-2006 08:08 AM

As Art opened the door, Kaira had to force herself not to rush in there and jump on the bed. For all they knew she had the wrong room afterall. She carefully entered the room, and looked at the single bed that was in here along with a table and a sink with soaps and cabinets.
There was a person in the bed, but completely covered in sheets. Kaira couldn't make out if it was Charger or not. Luckily for her, Chargers sleeping habits often involved his tail hanging from the side of the bed, after which he would complain about his tail being cold the following morning... Especialy in winters.
With a grin she crawled next to the bed, then carefully put her teeth around the tail in question and gave it a small yank. Charger woke up immediatly.
'Hey! Who's there?!' he yelled and pulled his tail in.
Kaira happily leaped her front paws on the side of the bed and send a tigrish grin his way.
'Goodmorning love!' she announced.
'Kaira!' Charger reacted with utter surprise. 'What are you doing here? How'd you find me?'
'I followed that smell of yours...' she said in a teasing way, then gave him a lick. 'How is your arm? Did they fix it?'
Charger pulled a face, lifting his left arm which was wrapped in cast.
'They did some surgery last night, fixed it right up. Amazing what technology can do these days. I'l just have to wear this thing for a week or so, then it's probably all better.'
He made a grumphy moan and whimpered.
'Well if it's fixed why are you so angry?' Kaira pondered.
Charger gave her a look, then looked to the ceiling.
'They had to shave my arm...' he whimpered.
Kaira had a look at his upper arm just above the cast, and indeed there was a huge chunk of his fur missing. It looked cute... in her opinion, and she snickered a bit about it.
'Poor tiggy,' she noted and grinned.
Charger grinned at her, then looked up at Art who was standing in the dooropening.
'And you brought Arthur, good,' he said. Surprising not only Kaira but probably also Art with the cheering way he said it.
'Did I miss something?' Kaira wondered and looked at him.
'No no,' Charger replied. 'I just need to talk to Arthur for a moment. Could you maybe wait out in the hallway? Or in that bathroom over there? Just for a moment?'
He gave her a faint smile.
'Sure...' Kaira reacted, still a bit confused. Then stepped into the bathroom.
Charger gestured Art to his bed, but then pointed to the door.
'No wait, close the door,' he said and waited for Art to do so.

Dave 04-03-2006 08:18 AM

Art was indeed surprised by Charger's cheerful greeting. He almost suspected that it wasn't really Charger. But his eyes told him otherwise - if this wasn't Charger, it was probably the best disguise Art would ever see.
"I just need to talk to Arthur for a moment. Could you maybe wait out in the hallway? Or in that bathroom over there? Just for a moment?"
Art had to think. Didn't Charger usually call him Art? It never occured to him until just now. Charger had started calling him Art for short, mostly to be a smart ass and not to signify friendship. Arthur was pretty much what people called him on a professional basis, if he wasn't D'Angelo. Needless to say, Art's suspicion grew.
When Charger asked Art to close the door on Kaira, he was beginning to panic in his head. Gotta stay cool, he thought. Can't afford to slip. Don't know what to expect.
He closed the door behind him, cool as a cucumber. "Okay, Charger, what do you need?"

Havoc 04-03-2006 08:29 AM

'Hey!' Kaira whimpered from behind the closed door. 'Meh...'
Meanwhile on the other side, Charger tried to sit up a bit.
'Have you heard of any stories about some were, or ware, or whatever kind of creature roaming the hills around this town? Remember the doctor kept mistaking me for someone else? Well yesterday I asked him about it and explained to him that I'm not who he thinks I am, then he told me about some creature that is living in the hills and killing people. Just giving you a heads up on that.'
He paused for a moment.
'So where did you guys spend the night?'

Dave 04-03-2006 08:36 AM

Art, relieved to fin Charger wasn't going to attack (but still on guard), filed away the information on the Were. He hadn't heard about one in these parts, but he had captured one once before. And made a fair amount of money in so doing. He would have to ask around town first chance he got.
Just as soon as I can find someone in this town, he thought.
"So where did you guys spend the night?"
"We camped out in the hills. Dave and Pseok went off somewhere else. Don't know where to. Come to think of it, I saw Pseok this morning. Dave ...." SHIT! "Dave wasn't with him! Oh, Christ. Charger, you don't suppose that the Ware you were talking about got him, do you? Ah, hell, how could I leave the kid with Pseok? Charger, what the hell is wrong with me?"

Havoc 04-03-2006 09:30 AM

'Do you really want me to answer that?!' he said on loud tone.
He sighed. Just leave it to Arthur to set up camp in the middle of a lion pit. Then again, he had been traveling with a bunch of anthro tigers so the guy probably figured it couldn't hurt. He snickered about is own inside joke for a moment.
'What the hell were they thinking just taking off like that anyway?!' he grunted. 'And why did you let them?!'
He sighed again and lay his head back to think. He's gone one night and everything goes wrong... how do they do it.

Gretin 04-03-2006 09:21 PM

Silvia stopped and looked silently at the two cats for a few seconds.
Then, making no effort to hide her sarcasm, "Riiight."
She half expected this to be some sort of contrivance of Slade's to somehow try and get her to come to him, as she thought it highly unlikely that he would have just given up like that. So with these thoughts in mind, she continued, "Just what do you want?"

__________________

Olivia, due to her being in tune to these sorts of powers, was immediately aware of the fact that the two cats had teleported into the building. She concentrated and tried to "follow" where they were going and sense what they were up to.
This was becoming more interesting than she had thought!

T-nex 04-03-2006 09:39 PM

Krisha ramained there a few seconds... Speechless. She was partly surprised and partly angry because her joke didn't work. She she followed Silvia.

"WAIT! Why didn't you get scared?? Any normal human would have freaked!" Krisha hastily.

"Krisha! Lets first find the others. I don't wanna get lost in this hospital." Kix said and turned aroound.

"NO, I wanna know what this human is up to..." Krisha said.

Gretin 04-03-2006 10:07 PM

Now Silvia looked surprised, "What, aren't you...?" she stopped herself. "Why wasn't I scared? I've met talking animals before, if that's what you're asking. In fact, I met a talking eagle just the other day... geez... so much has happened..." she was more thinking aloud than talking to Krisha now.
She was silent momentarily, then said, "And I want to know what you are up to; I'm sure two talking cats visiting a hospital isn't a normal occurance, even in such a strange place as this..."

T-nex 04-03-2006 10:50 PM

"Talking eagle? That must be Pseok..." Kix said, as she was sure a giant talking Eagle was not something you'd see every day.

"And we... Are just looking for Kaira and Art who are looking for Charger... Not a big deal really." Krisha said, "But when and why did you meet Pseok?"

----

"Join forces..?" Akky said lowly and stared blankly at Fisher.

This guy seemed powerful... He might gain something from it. Als he was quite tired of being alone.

"Ok... I'll do it." He said, "... But... I'd like your help then. I wanna get my revenge on Kix and her stupid group. They all deserve to die..."

Splat 04-04-2006 02:07 AM

Flying above the mountainside, Pseok tried and failed to see any sign of his attacker. The only signs of the fight were his own melted footprints on the stone. He could see nothing moving on the hill but smelling meat he flew down to see a rotting dead sheep in a stony hollow. It looked like something had been eating it but he couldn't tell what. Resigning himself to failure he pulled away from the mountainside and flew down to the camp at the bottom of the mountain. Streak and Blaze were still there and he landed beside them.
Pseok: "It's ok, I found Dave; he;s headed to the hospital to see Charger. What are our plans from now, i mean once Charger's out of hospital?"

Dave 04-04-2006 09:15 AM

Art shrugged. "I don't know. I thought Pseok was responsible. I didn't think he'd lose the kid, okay?"
Art sighed. "Come on. We should get back to the others."
---
Fisher smiled. "Yes, yes. I'm sure they've all been very naughty and need punishing. First you help me find the boy. He'll lead us to the others."
---
Blaze and Streak looked up at Pseok. The both thought the same thing, but Streak, being more bold, said it.
"Are you out of your mind? You loose the kid, then you send him on his own into that town?"
Blaze shushed his sister. "Hey. He's a human. He shouldn't have any trouble there."
Streak huffed. "I don't like it."

T-nex 04-04-2006 09:39 AM

Akky thought it a bit over..

"Ok then..." He said. He wasn't good at finding living things with spells like Kix, but he could find items. Like things with metal on the.

"I can probably track him down via the guns..." He then said, "... Want me to find him now before it's too late?"

Splat 04-04-2006 12:51 PM

Pseok looked irritable, "Hey, I didn't lose him on the mountain, I... Alright, I did, but that's only cus I had to fight off whatever it was that attacked me and turned into that stupid phoenix again. The options were to leave him or kill him and I stand by my decision. And what's wrong with leaving him in town? He's a human and he's in a place full of other humans only a hundred metres away from the building where Art and Charger and the tiger were or at least heading for! What's going to happen to him on a large road in a town?" He looked no less annoyed, "Anyway, I wanted to look for that... whatever it was that attacked me, so we know what we're dealing with and so it doesn't come down here and attack you guys. I couldn't find it and as far as I know it could be a few metres away from where we are now."

Gretin 04-04-2006 08:21 PM

"Pseok?" Silvia asked, "I don't know what his name was, but I came across him in the forests some distance out of Los Santos. Or, what's left of Los Santos. Which isn't much...
"Anyway, this eagle was with some gunslinger and he spotted me following them so he came over and set my horse free. Then, for some reason, the gunslinger decided to help me find it again... Wait... My horse!"
She suddenly realised that she still didn't know what had become of it. "The Flaming Arrow" had told her he got rid of her horse and her gear, but she didn't know how. Then she gave an uneasy glance over the top of the cats,
"Feels like someone's watching us..."

__________________

Olivia smiled to herself. They were indeed being watched, but not in the normal way. But more importantly, this was confirming what Slade had thought about Silvia. It was only a matter of time now...

__________________

Slade and Daniel were still standing on top of the cliffs, looking out over the city. But eventually, indicating to Daniel to follow, Slade started walking down a path leading down.

Havoc 04-06-2006 02:47 AM

'Yea sure,' Charger said as he gently got up. 'Doc said it needs to stay in this stuff for a week. But there is no reason for me to stay here, right?'
He didn't wait for an answer and just hopped over to the door. They could fix his arm, but his leg wasn't broken or anything, it just had a large bruise that hurt like hell.
'I suggest we get the others and get out of this creepy town as soon as we can before someone gets hurt. Come on.'
He dragged Art with him into the hallway.
After a few moment he stepped back into the room with a mumbling 'oops' and quickely opened the bathroom door.
'Sorry about that,' he grinned.
'Yea sure, whatever...' Kaira grumbled and follow them both outside.

Dave 04-06-2006 08:25 AM

On the way out, the three of them passed by Dave, who had been sitting quietly in the lobby, waiting for them.
"Hey!" Dave called. "Wait up!"
Art turned and looked at him. "What ... what the hell are you doing here?"
Dave: "I came to find you guys. Pseok dropped me off uptown."
"Where did you sleep?"
Dave grimmaced. "Under a log up the mountain."
Art winced. "Dammit. Look, Dave, Pseok can be a little out there sometimes. Don't let him lose you again."
Dave explained the Pseok had been attacked by some creature, forcing him to run away.
Art sighed. "Whatever ... I don't have to like it. Let's go."
---
Blaze and Streak exchanged looks. "What was this thing that attacked you?" Streak asked. "It doesn't sound like anything I've ever heard of."
---
Fisher shrugged. "Do what you want to do, Akky. I know you're good at what you do." More flattery. Fisher's way of gaining trust.

Splat 04-06-2006 10:39 AM

Pseok looked strained, like he was struggling to remember. "I only saw it as the phoenix and it's hard to remember... It looked human, in fact it was a girl, maybe a little younger than Dave. I don't really see her in my memory, I see how the phoenix remembered her... she... It's like she had claws... And It think she was going to bite me, that's what caused me to change. The phoenix didn't kill her, her forehead was burned, so if you see a human woandering around with a big burn on her forehead expect the worse."

Havoc 04-07-2006 07:16 AM

'Hey kid,' Charger grinned at him. 'Still alive I see?'
As they walked trough the lobby to the exit, suddenly a voice behind them.
'Hey hey! Hang on!'
It was the doctor that had been looking after Charger.
'Where do you think you're going?'
Charger turned around with a surprised look.
'Getting away from this scary place, what does it look like?'
'You can't go...' Doc. Oran replied, kind of hesitant.
Charger grinned for a moment, then fully turned to him and looking down on the small person.
'Realy...' he smirked. 'What are you going to do? Drag me back to my room?'
Kaira pulled a small grin about it. The doctor didn't reply.
'Thats what I thought,' Charger said, then turned around and headed for the exit. It was then he spotted the rope around Kaira's neck.
'Hey, you remembered. Good girl,' he complimented her, but then took it off. 'You don't need that anymore with me around.'

Dave 04-08-2006 12:30 PM

Blaze and Streak exchanged another look. "A human that bites? That's odd," Blaze said.
Streak looked at Pseok. "You say it looked human? How sure are you that it was a human?"
---
Art: "Fine. Now can we get out of here before something bad happens?"
Dave nodded. "Yeah, this place gives me the creeps. I can't help but think something strange is going to happen." He paused, then said, "Well, something stranger than walking around with a talking tiger and a tiger-man, anyway."

Splat 04-10-2006 01:54 AM

Pseok: "Well, like you said, how many humans go around biting people? It was pretty strong. But it definately looked like a human from where I saw it I think, hair and clothes and no fur and the like. It looked more human than Blaze as far as I can tell. But then that Fisher guy looks pretty convincing and most of the time behaves pretty normally as well, but unless Roland got it wrong he's not human so I wouldn't like to make a judgement."

Dave 04-16-2006 08:17 AM

Streak shrugged. "Most of the humans I've seen weren't really humans anyway..."
Blaze jumped, startling Streak. "Maybe it was a werewolf? Could that be it, Pseok?"

Splat 04-16-2006 08:44 AM

Pseok looked slightly annoyed. "It was a human. Not a wolf. You heard of a werewolf attacking someone as a human? In fact have you ever heard of a werewolf being anything other than a myth? I haven't heard of them being real outside of stories."

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

The small population of golden Valley were beginning to wake up as a short person wrapped in a dirty grey trenchoat complete with gloves and dark glasses, looking like your average 'Matrix' geek (not that the person was particularly aware of that herself) walked down the street, dark hair brushed in a rather strange style to cover her forehead and a large part of her face that wasn't already hidden by shades. She kept her head down, not that it made her any less noticable.
Elfair was... somewhat surprised by the group standing outside the hospital, it wasn't every day a... well... whatever it was, appeared here. There was supposed to be a pretty good circus nearby that kept some freaks (she'd read a few things in newspapers she'd scrounged and when she'd turned into a human) but nothing had ever come here. If she'd been aware of the events in Los Santos she might have been more able to explain it to herself.

That tiger made her sort of edgy as well, and she felt herself wishing her claws weren't so confined in her gloves and boots. That thought sent a rush of hunger to her mouth which she tried to surpress; now wasn't the best time. She passed quietly towards the small chemist beside the hospital.

She was just at the door when someone screamed. Adrenaline coursed through her body, had she been found out? What had she done that meant someone had seen her as not normal?
She spun round. There was a woman across the road screaming like a banshee, but she wasn't pointing at Elfair, she was looking at the hairy thing.

Trying to ignore it she stepped towards the chemist door but was hit by the shop keeper running out to see what was going on. As more people gathered round from the street and out of buildings she decided that this wasn't the secrecy she'd been hoping for she turned and ran, dodging down a small alley a short way down the street and hoping she hadn't been noticed.

ooc: Hope no one minds the random characters. Feel free to take control of the woman who started screaming or anyone else mentioned in the above post that you feel inclined to use.

Havoc 04-17-2006 03:11 AM

OOC: Sorry for my long absence people, RL has been a bitch. But I want to point something out while I'm at it. I have noticed that people only keep posting as long as I'm active. If I don't post for a week, the RP is dead. Thats not supposed to happen and I would like everyone active in the RP to try and be less dependant on other players, especialy me. So that, if someone doesn't post for a while, the RP can go on. I for one might not be able to post much the upcoming weeks due to some problems in RL, and I will be taking a small step back from the RP for a while. I won't leave, but I will just post less. In the mean time, I'm trusting all you guys to keep the RP active. This is a very nice RP, always has been for the past 2 years, so lets not let it die out.

Just wanted to have that said.

Havoc

---

As Charger, Art, Kaira and Dave stepped out the hospital doors and onto the square infront of it, it didn't take long before the woman had started screaming. It had become a bit more busy outside, as people we're going to work and stuff. The hand full of people on the square look up to the woman, then to the Charger and the group. After that it was just like all hell broke loose. Everyone started screaming and yelling.
'Well I havn't seen this in a long time...' Charger grinned while he thought back at the sheer chaos he created when he escaped from the zoo when he was younger. 'Come on, we better get going, Art. Get the car sta...'
A gunshot was heard, after which it became silent for a second and then the screaming started again. But this time words were also heard.
'It's that monster from the mountains! That thing killed my brother!'
'It took the life of my father!'
'And my son!'
Charger had ducked down and had pulled Kaira with him.
'What the hell?' he grunted. 'Arthur what the hell is going on!'
'Kill it!!!'
'You know,' Charger said as he got up and looked for an escape. 'Never mind, get to the others and get to savety!'
He threw his arms over his head as another gun shot was heard. By now a true mob was being formed and was quikely closing on Charger and Kaira.
'Get going!' Charger roared at them, then took of with Kaira down an alley next to the hospital. He knew that the mob would come after him, not after Art or Dave. They were human after all.
As fast as they could Charger and Kaira made their way trough the alley to another street, still somewhat deserted. On the far end was what appeared to be an old mine entrance. It looked like it hadn't been used in ages. But the old baydoors were wrecked and full of holes, big enough to get trough.
'There,' Charger said and pointed to the entrance. 'Hide in there Kaira. Go!'
'But what about you?' she almost cried.
'Don't worry about me, I'l be fine! Now go!' he yelled.
Kaira stood looking at him for a second longer with her big sad cat eyes, but then turned around and ran.
At the same time, the mob had found it's way down the alley and yet again a shot was fired. Charger quickely ran the opposite way, hoping the distract attention from Kaira.

Splat 04-17-2006 04:42 AM

ooc: I was waiting for anyone to post. You seem to have the important characters, I think more so since the RPG moved to OWF. You and Dave.

'It's that monster from the mountains! That thing killed my brother!'
'It took the life of my father!'
'And my son!'

Tears stung Elfair's eyes as she heard the shouts of the crowd, crouched against a wall in the alley. She hated what she was and hated what she did but when the hunger came to her she could never resist.
She heard footsteps and looked up to see that tiger thing running into the alley. That would mean the mob would follow in seconds. Cursing silently she slipped into the shadows and slid out of the far end of the alley into a sunny road beyond.

It was on the edge of the industrial area and there was no one around that she could see. She turned to run from the entrance to the alley and tripped over something. She stopped herself hitting the ground with her hands but her stolen (and badly fitting) shades fell from her face and hit the ground. Already damaged, this proved more than the old pair could take and they broke in half. Swearing, she clutched the two pieces to her face but she might as well have been trying to stop the Earth spinning round the Sun. She gave up and dropped them as she stood up. Anyone seeing her eyes would know immediately there was something strange with her, and strange in a bad way. She was about to run when the tiger man emerged from the alley.

ooc: Why were the crowd only screaming about guys being attacked Havoc? Elfair doesn't descriminate.
