Because Havoc posts real, contributive content most of the time and only occassionally posts memes.

Yeah I haven't been on much (apart from the past few days, late at night or during the middle of the day working on RF for short periods of time when nobody else is on) but I've been keeping a close eye on it. It's holding up well.

EDIT: Looking at the online players history graph though, it's a shame it's been mostly empty since the end of last week. Seems people are bored with ordinary Minecraft again. :(

What about the stronghold? I can't believe there's so little interest in that. I built the Longhouse of the Dragonslayers and everything! Come on people!

Yeah, especially after Havoc went to the trouble of combining the worlds so that we could have a stronghold... Maybe we should arrange a date to go explore it and fight the ender dragon. When are people free?

If we can delay it a few weeks and someone can donate some stuff to me I will be happy to help. I'm clean out of tools and iron. I think I have a few diamond, but other than that I'm broke. Caving is fucking impossible from Aus because mobs half kill me before I can see them. I rue the day I can actually hit one.

This is also the reason I haven't been on the server much.

Minecraft updated to 1.2.4 - It adds new cat behaviour, adds some coloured wood, and fixes a few bugs, although I wish they'd wait until the next major update for these kind of things. Guess the server will need updating soon as well.

As far as I've seen no one's been using it much for about a year, except right after an update. Maybe that's just my crazy timezone, though. Anyway, I should be back eventually. We might be able to get broadband as soon as our generator arrives and the car is no longer our only source of power.

I only just got a PS3 last week, so there's that.

Appart from the distracting effect of Borderlands and the occasional thesis writing, the reason for my playing less on the server is that I miss those voice chatting sessions we used to have during MCing. And, Nikki seems to have disappeared somewhere, even though I see signs of her being online every now and then.

I actually don't get the whole you're not ready for the server thing I mean you could always ban me or something.

It's not about you doing the wrong thing. The server exists for members of the OWF community to play Minceraft together. If we open the floodgates it will simply be a server run by the OWF people.

Also, "you're not ready" is a really bad way of wording it.

Put it this way: we were all good friends before the server was started.

Put it this way, if you were organising with a group of friends to go on a camping trip and then suddenly some complete stranger comes up and asks to come along, what would you say?

Well if they didn't seem like a pedo or a murderer than yeah i'd let them tag along and I know you don't know what I look like but ask yourself that question you would take them along wouldn't you?

I'm actually quite concerned for your safety that you a) would do that, and b) think paedophiles and murderers are readily identifiable by appearance.
