I'm New to these Forums But I have made my very first CAM. It's just a random image and I'm looking into brushing my skills so i can become better at cams. This is my first image that I want everyone to see.

I recommend Gimp, it's a free art program which has some of the same tools that photoshop has.

Also the screen grid will help you plan your level and object alignment (because the game scales the cams to 640x480):

I think I've figured out the secret to matching up 3D renders to the game grid - using a lattice to "squash" the object :).

Might be able to make something worth while if I ever get good enough with blender.

Edit: Nicked some textures from fan corner, looks a little better now.

Oh god I can't edit lvls in AE :( You have a lot of chance to make AE lvls...

I think he means he's going to try to put it in AR when the eidtor can handle cam edits of AE.

I was not spam Nate only I was asking question and that's all.
Anyway I'm still editing more cams and fg1 so I need a editor app comes a Fg1 feature and I know I haven't got the new editor yet.

FG1 edit = Impossible

my suggestion would be to actually practice modifying Abe's Odyssey because if you keep making cams but have no idea how to replace them in AE if the editor finally comes out, you're going to get no where. And trust me you'll need to practice object and collision editing if you finally get around to editing the actual levels.

oh and I'm also disappointed there's no editor for ARs levels.

I was so board doing edit abe's oddysee cams I want to do editing abe's exoddus cams and FG1 layers and I've been waiting the new editor so long and my point is I know I was busy doing of that as well and I'm pretty sure I've been doing this from the start. And some cams are very easy to make as a mod cams but I want to continue make more if I can but I'm a bit nervous try do that.
