hey guys i've made a FG1 and CAM Files and i'm having trouble to open the game and it had a crash on me and u know the FG1 I made i'll send the CAM and the FG1.

don't bother with foregrounds yet there's no current support to insert them.

You are correct, FG1 layers cannot be added yet.

ok if a FG1 layers can't be add it. and is anyways i can make an FG1 Layers to be add it? but i'm pretty sure some FG1 Cams like for a reasons to be add it like u know how abe go in to a layer on the game and the layer won't make abe disappear on the FG1 layers and abe go through the layer on the FG1. but is there an app make a FG1 Layers to make abe disappear? when u add a cam file with no FG1 layers to add and when abe go through a layer i just add and it won't make abe disappear on the layer it just not let abe disappear. that's the problem i just want to make a FG1 layers to support the cam file so that's the main part. I've haven't done that before only i make cam files as well but i haven't done an FG1 layers on the game.

it's very simple FG1 layers can't be replaced at the moment you'll have to wait until the next editor comes out before you'll be able to.

Yeah they will work :D Since I'm making every cam include these resources (having the .BAN's isn't enough to make them work :().

I'm attempting to remake a camera in blender. Just basic blocky geometry for now..

Was going to post this in the other thread but it has become locked. Also had to do strange hacks to the top platforms to fix up the perspective to make it look like the actual cam, using orthographic makes the bottom platform look flat.

Edit: Added basic materials and a horrible barrel model.

Edit2: Many more barrels.

I believe he's waiting for the next version of the level editor seeing as most of the cams look like they're designed for exodus.

P.S. for the new level I was using a strategy, use the grid cam and design the path, once I had completed the path I'd use PrtScn and copy the layout from the level editor and into a cam file and design the cams from there.

maybe. when i'll have to wait for the new version of the new level editor first.
and then i can put on the actual level.

I plan on scraping the current mod I'm making (the one I showed first not the Christmas one or paramonia remake) and starting a new one in oddysee, and doing a port of oddysee to exoddus (may start a topic for it if enough people want to help.)

Because other than the new objects that Exoddus offers, I can't really see the point.

The physic is a little bit different in Exoddus. Also, it would be interesting if there was some new cams/secret areas (they must look good enough though) and new puzzles with scrabs and paramites, sloggies and flying sligs. Like a Oddysee v2 with 300 muds.

That's the kind of project that could make me stop procrastinating. (My Bonewerkz edit's not progressing at all these days.)

tell me the parts where you had to lead 12 mudokens to one portal on separate screens wasn't tedious.

EDIT: another thing since I'm starting over I was wandering does anyone have any ideas/concepts for an oddworld game? (preferably not something like a crossover?)

i've glad u like it but do u know how long it take me to finish this? 5 or 6 days
to complete all the parts and to do the new next steps but i'm pretty sure what is the next step will do next?

no 0.7 isn't finished yet so we're all waiting for it sadly.

Though if you do find a way to replace cams in Exoddus (including foreground) please tell us how you were able to accomplish this.

well like i've done or of the parts what i've been able doing so far are u asking a reason or i don't know. some how i am accomplish which is i done so far but i'm pretty sure i'm trying to accomplish or whatever and that's why i'm trying wait for the new editor version. and dose the editor has a replace cams between AO and AE features?
