Varrok takes people being racist to sligs very seriously.

Some Sligs (like Crig, reporter at the Daily Deception) are actually intelligent.

Also I'm pretty sure a notice like this wouldn't be written and publish unsupervised so I'm sure a Glukkon or Vyker would have had a big say in what was written.

Also, we only see the Slig issuing some commands to open doors on those keys.

I remember playing an excellent Oddworld game that had no Mudokons in it.

It was called Stranger's Wrath.

There were Mudokon Pops in Stranger's Wrath HD!

I believe Strangers Wrath and Abes Oddysee took place in locations far apart from each other, mainly because there are almost no reoccurring species other than the odd few.
Edit: Yeah AO is in the Eastern Mudos and Strangers Wrath is in Western Mudos.

They both took place in Mudos but SW took place in the Western side of Mudos and I think AO is more on the East side

I was just disputing the claim Mudokons were "the embodiment of Oddworld". I'm not sure what your points are...

Regardless of who actually did the typing, you'd think they (or their bosses) would make a draft or something first to avoid spelling mistakes... Or perhaps the storm was getting too wild and they needed to get something out FAST ;)

You guys do realise that Oddworld's spelling and grammer has always been entirely arbitrary, right? For example, phone is spelled "fone", and the plural form of several (but not all) species uses a "z" instead of an "s", as in ratz or clakkerz. Many characters also speak with erroneous and perculiar annunciation.

If you use yer imagination, it's not hard to interpret these errors as a nothing more than a bit of odd flair that perfectly suits the minds of the Cartel.

If I was an ARGer, I'd take a look at those inked-out words. They might be important.

I see what you did there :fuzwink: Also very true about the off grammar, it seems like it may just be in there for flavor, but with this ARG who knows what's going to be important later!

I had gone through the x'd out words earlier to see if anything jumped out, either with the missing/wrong letters or with the words themselves, but I didn't really see anything of note. Just in case it comes back later or if someone else can see something I might have missed though, here is what I got. (it was hard to make out a few of the letters due to the x's but I think these are right)

x'd on left, corrected on right:

Flyer 1: 'mins' -> 'minds'
'bland' -> 'blind'

Flyer 2: 'thsnka' -> 'thanks'

Flyer 3: 'undertaker' -> 'undertaken'
'least' -> 'last'

Looks like they are testing different formulas of Soulstorm Brew on poor Mudokons.
And it's safe to say this particular formula has some nasty side effects

I did this thing, Those eyes... are creeping me out! and they are too close to be Mudokon's, too big to be Vykker's, Too Different to be Glukkon's... huh...

Anyone else see the staring reflected eyes? It's legit creeping me out.

i mean, it CAN'T be a mudokon... must be the ones conducting the experiment, but those eyes are NOT Glukkons (they have glowy eyes)

So it seems the numbers on their chests are for mudokons selected to be a test subject for SSB

It could well be an Intern, the eye shape does seem to match, the only thing that makes me think it could be something else is that there seems to be a ridge or something coming off the eye. Interns ridge have a different angle and aren't as long as the one in the image.

I have a feeling that this chamber is doing something to his eyes, they seem to be bulging quite alot, more than usual.

And the main question is why Glukkons want a crowd of insaine uncontrollable Mudokons? How will it strengthen their business?
