MegaElectrode just needs to happen.

I'm curious about MegaBlaziken. If that is getting a mega evolution, will all the other final form starters get one? It seems dumb to give it to just one.
|
|
Mega Blazekin is a promotional thing, and players will only be able to get the special torchic from some event.
|
I'm not crazy about mega evolution, if only because it means less time spent "properly" evolving old 'mon or exploring new designs.
On the other hand, it's better they try something wacky and fail than get settled into an endless series of indistinguishable games. And yes, MegAmpharos is the best. Bishie llama. |
Blazekin is like one of the most overpowered Pokemon used in battles thanks to the recent changes to him in B2/W2. Now his Mega form is even more powerful...
I guess it's because Blazekin is the fan favourite starter. But yeah anyway. I too want to see all the starters get Mega forms. Charizard and Feraligatr would be amazing. |
|
Yes.
http://i.imgur.com/KqRUAT0.jpg Fox stands up, is designed with the intent of being feminine and attractive and has a wand. Grass thing is... who the fuck knows what is up with grass thing No. |
The grass starter isn't a evolution. It just got fat.
Also there are different Mega forms of Mewtwo in X and Y |
Froakie's second evolution is so badass.
|
I think Chespin turned into a balloon...
Hopefully the final evolved form will look a lot better... I won't judge it by the second form. But damn |
Chespin's clearly a horse chestnut.

It came out on the weekend, I've been playing it.
It's mostly fantastic. The region is beautiful, you can customize the hell out of your trainer, the story is interesting, the characters fun, music is grand, adds tons of features to fiddle with like super training and pokemon cuddling, great multiplayer stuff, tons to explore, the largest pokedex in the series... ...but there just aren't enough new pokemon. It's probably because they spent the majority of time porting over existing pokemon to 3D models so they can re-use them in future games, but it kind of really hurts the appeal of a new game when all you find is fucking tentacool, zoobat and shit again and again. That said, the 70 or so new pokemon (not including megas) are mostly pretty great-looking, special points to Pumpkaboo. But there's just not enough of them. Oh well, maybe next time? |
they finally realized the original 150 are the best heyooooo
My copy of Y will be arriving today... and the 3DS I ordered to play it on will be arriving at some point later in the week. |
I downloaded Pokémon Y from the e-Shop and I've played about five hours of it. I really like the 3D world and I'm having fun with the game, but like Strike Witch said, there aren't really that many new Pokémon and all of the final forms for the starters are shit, I don't even want to evolve my Frogadier when the time comes. One good thing for me though is that I haven't played Black or White (or the sequels for that matter) so for me there are actually a ton of new Pokémon to catch.

:
Delphox is gorgeous |
But Braixen is better looking. And so is Frogadier. And... well... Chespin is definitely better than its two latter forms.
|
Braixen is okay for a fox furry.
Delphox is a fucking awesome kitsune robe-wearing oracle with a magic wand. It's fantastic. Froakie's evolutionary line is the lamest shit ever. Frog -> bigger Frog -> bigger Frog At least fire and grass actually do something with it, though grass just ends up looking like a clusterfuck. |
I would be completely okay with Greninja if it had the bubble scarf that Frogadier has, but that huge dumb as fuck tongue around its neck looks so stupid and the white dots on its arms and legs are also pretty pointless.
Just beat the second gym, man that gym leader looked ugly as fuck lol. It was very easy with Frogadier. Currently I'm trying to get my Skiddo and Sandile to evolve. I really, really like the 3D world, some environments look amazing. |
Got Pokemon X a day before release (I know get me!) and I'm slowly making progress. I don't rush Pokemon games and tend to try and do a gym a day. Maybe even more depending.
The game itself is fantastic. The last Pokemon game I truly loved was Ruby/Sapphire and this blows it out of the water. As much I am a sucker for the originals, this game truly is the best Pokemon RPG. The world is so beautiful and great to explore. The music is really catchy, I dig the Gym battle music. I'm SO GLAD they finally switched to 3D models. I was getting sick of sprites and because your not stuck on a 4x4 grid anymore, travailing around is so much more fun. As for the Pokemon. Well I agree with what's already said. I don't have many favourites. As much as people hate hearing 'ooh the originals are better'. Well I'm sorry they kinda are. Design wise anyway. My team consists of Braixen, Pancham, Jolteon (which has ZERO Electric moves) Pidgeotto (which is shite. Going to replace soon), Gloom and a spare slot.... yeeeeah my team is a mess. I'm pretty terrible at Pokemon. |
Korrina is my favourite gym leader since Elesa, and she was my favourite since Sabrina and Misty.

I've got the first badge and I assume I'm about to fight the second gym leader. So far I'm really enjoying it, but from what people are saying I really am disappointed about the lack of new Pokemon. It is however remedied by the amount of old Pokemon you can catch, so I'll be able to have a nice varied team out of it.
|
The amount of content between the first and second gym is fantastic. It's like they took the best lesson possible from the anime and manga.
Also I love how everyone constantly throws curveballs at you in regards to type matchups. |
Not got it yet but will do either in 2014/2015. Need a 3DS first :)

:
Not that there's any shortage of things to make into Pokemon, but a quality>quantity model is more sustainable. |
I think it's more like they have to make 3D pokemon now so they made most of the old pokemon models in 3D with this game and didn't have as much time on new pokemon.
|
That too.

I’ve been playing Y here and there for the past day I definitely like most of the changes they’ve made, but then I’ve missed all but two generations so I’m no expert on that.
As far as less new Pokemon are concerned, it hasn’t bothered me so far – I’ve missed a few generations, so a lot of what I’m seeing is new to me anyway, even if I know they’re from older games. I think it’s nice to recognize some Pokemon from the get-go too, it makes it easier to jump right in. This concludes the opinions from someone who hasn’t yet fought the first gym leader. |

Also, anyone interested in exchanging friend codes? Even if you never trade or battle it has an effect on the Friend Safari, so it’s worth it. |

Doublade is my favourite by far.

I was just browsing Serebii for Mega Evolutions. They are all so awesom-

BIGGER DRESS, MORE POWER
|
Look, we can argue favorites all we want, but at the end of the day we all know which is objectively the best new Pokemon.

I beat the game also and I have a level 90 Espeon. This makes my fifth Espeon since Platinum. I like Espeon. |
I was gonna train up an Espeon but after looking at all the Pokemon I wanted to use, I noticed I had a ton of Psychics and a distinct lack of grass-types. So, Leafeon it is, when I eventually get to the spot where you can evolve one.
