So the new rumor about Half Life 3 is that its open world, quest based, and coming in 2014. Interesting. Not the first rumors we've heard, but who the fuck knows at this point.

All the kids in my school ( I say kids, they're mostly older than me) are all raving about the new Fifa game, and every year this same time, it annoys me. I've said this many times and so has Nepsotic, we both agree it should just be DLC each month because it's the same game each year with different characters. It's not like the football industry needs so much money. They should just give it all to Valve, Oddworld Inhabitants and Bethesda.



Upon first seeing that it reminded me of a game, and I realized it looks like Zelda 2: Link's Adventure. it's very much alike in style, do you think you're gonna buy that? I've already pre-ordered it but it won't come until December. :fuzsad:

They stated when it was first announced that the gameplay is based on Zelda 2. I think it looks fun despite this.

Zelda 2's probably one of my favorites, I admit it's frustrating walking around the map and a random battle appears then again that pisses me off with Pokemon too.

Zelda 2 is the only Zelda game to ever come out that I didn't like. I hate to admit it, but it was too hard for me. That's why I don't like it.

I just don't like that type of game, the overhead 2.5D games.

I agree it is hard, it's quite annoying. I'm having to train loads just to get through this cave without dying. When I do get through, I die, and Ganon's ugly face looks at me. It's shocking that's his only appearance.

Then again he does die in the first one. Saying that, the Zelda timeline is horribly pieced together, Shigeru himself doesn't even know the order.

I've never played Zelda.

That comic made about as much sense to me as the Zelda timeline.

I don't think either of them are really meant to make complete sense, though.

Zelda 2 is also the only Zelda game I don't like. Not just because it was hard, I didn't like the gameplay.

Okay yeah I guess. Maybe I'm thinking of this like Mario or Pokemon. Mario and Pokemon are those sort of games that's you've played at least once even if you don't own them.

Mario 3 is probally the best one. Either that or Super Mario World or Super Mario Bros 1. The old mario games are hard; Which I can understand can put some people off.

It's not like nowadays where they give you stuff that makes it easier. :(
