It's a joke. MoxCo. has quoted sligpatrol as saying 'sic background', but has presumed that sligpatrol really meant to type 'sick', what with all the backwards-talk the cool kids are using these days. MoxCo. has given a disclaimer which effectively means 'I didn't make this mistake, it was in the original post'. This, hilariously, is also "[sic]". |

This is my current work desktop background. Give it a second for your eye to take in what you're seeing...
(click to see fullsize)  The following two are the pics I use for my Galaxy Tab 10.1 wallpaper and lockscreen, respectively. The wallpaper is particularly effective, because it actually scrolls from right to left as you shift through the lists of icons. And with the lockscreen, I aligned the picture so that the lock pattern is right on top of the moon.   |

I actually made the second one my background :) My monitor isn't all that great, It would look amazing on a better monitor.

I changed both my home and my work desktop images. Both of them are photos I took on my last trip to the USA. (click for full size)
Chihuli blown glass ceiling in the lobby of the Bellagio in Las Vegas:  This one might look like Mudokon native art, but it might actually have been inspiration for OWI's designers, rather than the other way round. It's a Polynesian painting on bark cloth from Indonesian Papua. I saw it in the De Young Museum in San Francisco (which I would recommend to anyone with an interest in tribal art).  |

As I mentioned I watched Hobo With A Shotgun which I thought was awesome. There are these cool pair of characters called "The Plague" and I wanted a wallpaper of them, this was the only decent thing I could find but it still looks cool. Thank goodness for Deviant Art.

Dear lord, you actually liked Hobo with a shotgun? I thought it was pure garbage. I expected it to be funny because it would be shit, but it was just the shit part.

I thought it was excellent and internet reviews I've read seem to agree, only thing I can't figure out is if the actors are just bad or the actors are intentionally being bad because it's a grindhouse movie.

Hobo with a Shotgun was unreal good as a film that wasn't meant to be taken at all seriously. It knew what it was doing and it did it well. Comical amounts of controversy, drugs, blood and decapitation down to a tee if you ask me.

I suppose if you really like films like that, it's alright. I personally hated it.

Yep, that's my dilemma with that picture of The Plague I wanted from Hobo With A Shotgun. The picture I posted is actually a screenshot I took when the DVD was playing on my laptop and yeah, it goes all pixelated when I get it to fill my desktop.

I'm the opposite, I hate when icons cover any part of my wallpaper picture, so a 'frame' is most suitable.

This is my family desktop at the moment. The background is a photograph taken near Helvellyn in the Lake District. I chose it cause it looks wintery/christmasy :)
