Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
I love the Smash Bros. games. I've loved them since I played the first one at a friend's house and got my ass handed to me by their siblings. Melee is still one of the most hard to find games around here and I played god knows how much on it. Brawl is just as fun, but I didn't realize that like, half of the new characters aren't unlockable. Especially Olimar and Dedede. It feels cheap just to...have them. It doesn't really detract from the game, but it would have been nice to almost start from scratch in getting some of the new characters. Anyway, I got it yesterday, unlocked Ness, Marth, Snake, Luigi, Falco and Captain Falcon. Playing it online sucked because there's no sort of matchmaking system so I ended up fighting either a million bajillion Marths. Still fun, though. Need to get some friends over to play it. |
You can complete the adventure mode up to The Great Maze in about a six hour marathon and it'll net you all the characters except Star Wolf and Kid Link.

I'm actually going to unlock them the super slow way: playing a shitload of multiplayer brawls, as every character can be unlocked this way. Last Unlock is Toon Link. Maybe I'll Handicap it with 300% starting damage and one life once in awhile, but I'll get better at the game this way. Subspace Emissary is tedious.

It really is.
|
I found it really fun, if very repetetive.
|
I found it very stupid and also stupid and repetitive.
|
God, Starcraft 2's ending was utter bullshit.

I beat Vulcan Raven in MGS. Now I just have to fight Raiden (before we know he's Raiden...) without weapons...
I've all but stopped playing Rayman. I'm out of continues at Allegro Presto... I found all 60 cages in Rayman 3. You don't get anything, oddly enough. I'm almost certain I didn't get the health upgrade that came with every other group of 6 cages I found. I downloaded CPM last week. I'm just a bit behind the 8-ball. It's great; the majority of maps I've used are a lot faster than te VQ3 maps due to teleporters that lead from one end to the other, or around to various other convenient locations making several rational pathways to each confrontation. |

I believe he means Ocelot.

MGS 1.
You fight, but don't kill, Vulcan Raven outside the tank hangar, then go into the place with the electric floor in search of Dr. Emmerich. You eventually locate Emmerich, who is being attacked by a "Cyborg Ninja". After being challenged to a fight by the ninja, you eventually discover weapons are of no use against his exoskeleton. EDIT: I found another copy of MGS3: Subsistance in a shop today. It was $150 this time. ($100 last time I saw it) |

I know more about MGS than I thought I did. |
Ah. See, I'm assuming here. I suppose I was premature in my assumption.
|
:
So, yeah. There are still 11 that you don't have. |

I made these a while ago. I've been wanting to show them off because they took fucking forever to make. |
What is it?

Minecraft is for super no-life faggots

It's Wasted Time: The Game.

I played some Alien Hominid on PS2 earlier. Good fun. |

Then you screencap it and show other people who like 3D-brick forts. Apparently there's also multiplayer survival games, but you have to pay for that part. |

Like jukeboxes and shit. |
I have 110% on Limbo now. One more to go, and I have pretty much run out of ideas.
Anyone checking the leaderboards may think that you can get as high as 125% on Limbo. You can't. Those are modded save files. 111% is the highest legitimate score in the game. |
I have unlocked every character in SSBB except for Star Wolf, Jigglypuff and Toon Link, it will take 200, 150 and 100 more Brawls to unlock each of them respectively (Those numbers aren't stacked on top of each other though, thank god). I never play as any of the characters their movesets are based off of, though, and Jigglypuff is...well, Jigglypuff is Jigglypuff. Jus going to be unlocked for the sake of being unlocked, so I could really give a fuck.
Now, I just unlocked Sonic. Sonic can suck a thousand cocks since he's a loosey-goosey eye irritant that careens across the screen and slips off edges like a champion fucktard. Mr. Game and Watch is a BEAST, though. Several people who were significantly better than me promptly ate shit when I started using him. I'm a goddamn wizard with Game and Watch. |
Got to the last boss on FF8. I thought it was a cakewalk until she used Apocolypse and wiped my party. Naughty little bitch.
EDIT: Eh, beat her. Aw. |
BlazBlue. "Your lips are moving, but I can't understand what your saying" would have applied in the introduction, but their lips were static.
It seems like there's a nice character balance: the overpowered characters have stupid systems in place to make them less overpowered. I've tried most of the characters in training. I only really dislike Rachel so far; she moves too slow and has short ranged attacks. Her specials are ok, but require a mindstate that I lack. |
Sat down like a big turd and played about 180 Brawls (300% Health, 1 life, fast speed, Level 1 CPUs) today and unlocked Jigglypuff, Toon Link and Wolf today. It took somewhere between an hour, hour and a half. Decided to try Toon Link and Wolf, and found that the latter is actually a pretty good character. He's heavy enough to make up for the nimbleness that playing as Fox or Falco usually requires, and his attacks aren't really cloned so much as recalibrated; he hits harder, deals lots of sequential aerial damage and generally looks like a mean spikey fuck doing it. Hell, I beat a level 6 Bowser without losing a single life.(I'm well aware that's not super impressive, but I used to be good enough as Fox or Jigglypuff in Melee to beat 3 Level 9 CPU's grouped against me by my lonesome, it's just been awhile.)
This makes me want to play Star Fox Assault again. I've played the shit out of that game, but still like it plenty. Gonna pick that shit up after work tomorrow. |
BlazBlue: I've cleared Ragnas story twice, but have only scored 80%. I'd swear that there was only one place where there was an option...
I've used the BlazBlue joystick with Rayman and MGS. Rayman took a bit of getting used to, but I'm better off with the arcade-stick. When I start LittleBigPlanet again, I'll probably use the arcade-stick. |
Oh god, I am in love with Minecraft.
|
Decided to go back and finish Machinarium, loved it. The story was rather simple, but I preferred it that way. It was very artistic, a little short, but the puzzles were rather mind boggling at times.
|
Tried Minecraft, wasn;t thrilled.
I was however, playing the browser-based single player since the multi didn't work. I also went over to a friend's house last night and beat every single person there at Smash Bros. while not entirely sober. Then I crashed on the dudes couch. |
Just tried Minecraft to see what all the buzz was about.
What the flying fuck is the point? |
I'm considering buying Dragon Age: Origins. Someone should convince me.

You get to have sex with whores and elves.

Yes, but this time you get to see the sex once! And there's blood effects!
So yeah, Fable with blood and more dragons. |
