Sure like what? Ill give some pictures. They show parts of the studio and a neat picture all kinds of Oddworld merchandise which I find cool. I want work there so badly! They even have a pool table and I love pool!
Check it out!:D |
That's the article I had in mind. I still don't think Vykkers are going to be entirely devoted to living out their lives in the air, though. I wouldn't think it's as much of an issue as the Glukkons living in the dark. But maybe I'm wrong.
Oddys, who watched the JIMtv show the 'sub' appeared on called it a submarine, though. |
And here is the pool table. Damm I wish I was working there! Sorry my scanner is down at the moment its the best I can do with pictures at the moment.
|
wow, and I tought I had a good oddworld collection
PA more! more! more! oh and we allready saw the pool on Xbox Addict... http://www.xboxaddict.com/interviews...xba_photo2.jpg OWI, realy looks like a real nice place to work |

I have some pics from Polygon...some you saw, in better view, and some you haven't seen. Nothing about Stranger, but just a nice view of Oddworld Inhabitants.

Lorne said Stranger was part Clint...hehe. |
Hey, check it out, they've got my map on the wall in picture 2, along with two posters I can't readily identify as anything. Hahaha, FF fans are gonna love what Lorne says in picture 3.
Good work, oddguy. |
good pics Oddguy. Kudos mate.
|
Okay FF7 might not of had a hollywood acting, but it was a great game when it came out.
It's still one of my favourite games of all time, i hope the movie is good. |
wow gotta make a news about those pics on oddblog!
great oddguy! |
Wow, this is all very cool.
I haven't had time to look through all your pics Oddguy, but I will when I get home. Great job, guys. Very cool. |
Picture 2, behind Lornes head. Appear to be a salamander shot from a cg movie. Probably from the opening one.
|
jup, looks like this picture:

Cool background. There's not very much colour but it's cool none the less. :D
|
that river looks enigmatic...
I wonder if we will be able to go on it with the ship |
Hey, Xav. Would you mind merging "Get the Oddworld Issue of Polygon while you still can" and "Polygon...The Oddworld Issue" together? I'm getting criticized for making too many Polygon threads!:p
-oddguy |
My God! I've missed out on a ton of new info. Great pictures, I have never seen any of those. I have one question... Is Stranger the name of the game, or is it what the steef is called? I'm so glad the salimanders have been updated to look more natural and less plastic.

The games section of OWI says that's what the title is, so I'm guessing it's the real title.
|
It's hasn't been Officially announced though, so OWI could change it or spice it up later on.
|
Yeah like The Lone Stranger or something. :p
|
Aw, man. I can't wait to get me grubby hands on a full-body shot of Stranger. SO I CAN DRAWS HIM!!!
Isn't there one in the Xbox special? |
:
And consider the conjoining done. :) |
wow, I swear I didn't dubble posted...
and it's true we don't know the Steef's name, and we don't know the game's name neither |

The last cover behind a sad story....
....poor Polygon ...and thank you Polygon
Polygon ends brief honeymoon By Curt Feldman, GameSpot 02/27/04 02:36 PM http://www.gamespot.com/all/news/news_6090275.html ----------------------------------------> Launched in May of 2003, timed with the E3 Expo trade show, game magazine Polygon was shuttered yesterday by its owner, Deviation, LLP. Sources tell GameSpot the closure was based on insufficient ad revenues. With only nine issues under its belt, the magazine was a rare combination of news, reviews, and thoughtful features. The last cover story took an inside look at Lorne Lanning and the creative crew at Lanning's dev studio, Oddworld Inhabitants. The Polygon approach was deliberate and thoughtful--and its graphics rivaled many a top-tier magazine. Not surprisingly, such pedigree comes at a cost, one Diviation was unable to bear any longer. Sources tell GameSpot that while Deviation considers how to use the Polygon name, subscriber list, and fixed resources, all staffers remain on payroll and at the ready. |
Good find...although, Oddworld Universe and OddBlog allready reported it.
