WHAT??? Bush has alreaddy declared war??? Is this really true? I think I´ve missed the news. THAT CAN`T BE!!!! :eek: I just heárd America will bomb Afganistan this weekend. That´s so silly! JUst more innocent people that die! If the US really bombs the nation they aren´t better than the terrorists.

AHEM excuse me but i believe steel costs more than concrete. besides you cant build a 110 story building out of concrete. it would collapse under its own weight or become unstable and fall over. besides the WTC buildings were meant to withstand explosions and high winds. thats why they didnt topple over when the planes exploded or MANY more would have been killed. the fact stands, buildings that tall cant be made out of concrete.

I mean what if those planes had germ warfare thingys in them? By this time it realses next week and it would only take two weeks for it to reach California. I'm so scared. I hate seeing lives end for meaningless reasons, it's too sad!!!

hey, i never said Britain was exactly innocent of exploitation, but America has long since inherited our title as Most Exploitative Nation...

and everyone, they don't even know yet that it was Bin Laden who did it! their only reason for suspecting him is "We thought he did it last time..."! they're bombing Afghanistan without even being certain that the person who committed this crime is even there!

The whole point of commiting terrorism is to draw attention to your beliefs. None of those suspected as being responsible for the tragedy will come forward about it. So what was the point?

you seem to think that terrorism is pointless if the perpetrator doesn't claim responsibility, but this act of terrorism seems to have accomplished something: to make Bush realise that his nation isn't invulnerable.

How can George Bush say it's going to be a long War. A War against Afghanistan is like a War against Iran. Do you know that the advage wage in Afghanistan is $900.00 bucks a year. Now really, these poor people can't afford War. And even if Bin Lardin is a billionare, Americas welth has got to have that money 1000 fold. Probally even more. I can't see this war lasting years like Dubber Ya said it would. That's what I think anyway.

This is not a war against one specific person... This is a war against terrorism. And Osama Bin Laden most definitely is a terrorist.

anyway, what the terrorists did, terrible as it was, does not justify the vengeance that Bush has planned for them. apparently, he has now officially declared war? how stupid is he? even though they don't even know that it was Bin Laden who did it! the only reason they have for suspecting him is that "we thought he did it last time"...

the reason was that america has always hated Islam, and has been sponsoring Israeli terrorism against the Palestinians for a long time. i am not saying this was a good reason, i am just presenting the other side of the story.
