If I understand correctly, Vlam is criticizing OWI for still being a small studio which is overambitious, because they're thinking they'll manage to make new Oddworld title without necessary 3D game design knowledge, and proposes that remaking MO after Soulstorm Brew would get JAW mentioned experience.

Also he criticizes Lorne for hating big companies though he wants OWI to become a big company (once again).

If they absolutely HAVE to chop the game into parts to be able to make it and they just split the game into 2 episodes, 15$ each, that's fine with me. The original version was equally split on 2 discs as well, after all.

If it's really the only way to make the game possible, it's still better than no game at all. More than 2 episodes would be kind of ridiculous though...

Isnt that how the walking dead games were released? To be honest, the only episodic games I have played are HL2+ eps and the wolf among us. So i'm going off that and talking out my ass.

AE had amazing pacing.

V_O_T : not the same pace as AO. It plays more "smoothly" than AO, also you get the feeling that you can "rush" the levels who are longer.

Telltale episodes come out about once every 2 months.

AE being in 2 discs is not a justification for the HD version having a multiple episode release.

Nope, but if AEHD is an episodic game it would be logical to make those episodes analogous to the 2 discs.

I think that the real question is : episodic or not, are you willing to pay more than NnT's price ?

If they go episodic I assume it wouldn't be with the intention of making it better or worse, but more to do with some business strategy given the budget and projected timeframe.
