Sorry, I must have missed out the bit where I go 'The next post better be on topic or else.' like Nate does.
It''s usually implicit though. Learn the unwritten rules. |
I'm learning sweep picking. That shit's hard... but fun
EDIT: For those who doesn't know what that is, it's pretty much this: the way he moves so smoothly between the strings EDIT2: Before you ask, I don't know or care who the hell he is, I googled this a sec ago. |

I used to DJ drum n bass quite a few years ago when vinyl was my thing .. but as soon as CDJs came into the picture vinyl died..sad face |
I've been learning some songs from the Megaman X games. They are long, fast and complicated, like the women I tend to avoid so they don't crush me with their cars. Also, they're fun as fuck to play. When I get my Electric Guitar at the end of the month I'm going to attempt to record the Guitar/Bass portion. If any of you feel like contributing to a collaborative effort to redo the music from Mac Sirloin's favourite video game either send me a PM or study up:

Here is my latest masterpiece. This is a short exercise my composition teacher told our class to do. Props to anyone who recognises the method or the style.

Well, seeing that you're the only person that knows about this thing I might as well say that it's 12-tone expressionist, using tone rows a la Schoenberg.
For those who don't know what that means: |
I think I've found my new favourite guitar playing style. So simple and imitatable yet so fun and easy to manipulate. I can tell that for the next little while, every time I pick up my guitar I'm gonna end up riffing surf. |
