And select adjust for best performance.

It makes a huge difference as long as you're willing to sacrifice the fairy shit used to make Windows 7 look pretty.

I think the point was that he couldn't run the games AND Windows 7 on it's default graphics settings.

No, my point was that I could only run the games on about 5 fps.
Now I can run them with over 30. I can still run the games on the same graphics they originally had, it's just that Windows 7 is less pretty (which I don't really give a flying shit about).

I just put mine on Aero Basic. It works well enough and looks alright. Although it was only for Minecraft to run properly, but the final version seems to run Dokucraft flawlessly without me changing anything :D.

I don't know anything about this guy, I'm sure I will know all about him when I play Saints Row The Third, but I think that he looks just awesome, but what I find weird about this wallpaper which I got from the official Saints Row website is that no matter what size you download they all look a little bit blury.

It's always better to manually scale up/down wallpaper for desktop use using photoshop or paint.net than it is to just stick it to your desktop and rely on your os to scale it properly (It won't)

In my opinion though, it's just unnecessary, but I can definitely see how having a sexy computer has its benefits.

For me it's less about sexiness and more about making my computers (on which, frankly, I spend most of my waking hours) welcoming, calming places.
