I also hope they fix the glass armor. Looked great in Morrowind, horrible in Oblivion.
For glass, green wasn't a good colour. The swords looked like chunks of Tiberium.
:
Tiberium or kryptonite. Either way.
Yes, get smacked with a tiberium sword and have a voice constantly reminding you tiberium has been detected.
Link no work.
Well, here's something better.
EPIC. It's got the scale of Lord of the Rings, and the alienation of Morrowind! The sense of heroism, but also the sense that this world is too much for one man! Plus they used the Morrowind theme, but Viking-y! |
Skyrim looks stunning, absolutely fucking gorgeous. I'm so going to pre-order this.
So is half the population of THE UNIVERSE
FUCK YEAH JUST FUCK YEAH JUST FUCK YEAH Yeah, me too. I think I might need a change of pants. |
It looks amazing. I might pre-order it later.
Months will be spent on this.
When I mean months, I mean my Xbox will be on for fucking months. With Elder Scrolls, there's always just one more level up, or just one more quest to do, I couldn't bring myself to stop playing Oblivion the first time around, and before I knew it, it was fucking morning. I hope it has awesome ever-changing weather too, not just night and day, rain and thunder and cloudy weather. Made me feel like I was in a real world for once. |
Why you're always offline, Dix?
I, too, will most likely pre-order this for the 360. I first thought about the PC, but then I remembered it can't handle any games with that good graphics. Yay! |
Because I'm a cheap-ass whore.
Besides, my being on Xbox Live is equivalent to pandas mating. It's so rare, and you just have to be there at the right time. |
Bear in mind that the PC version will be modded within months of release. You don't get that on consoles. Also, mouselook.
Nice breakdown of the trailer: http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/02/24/th...-shot-by-shot/ They're nicking all my RPG ideas! |
:
This might just destroy Gears 3 and Battlefield 3 in the fight for which disc is melted into my 360 this holiday.
Wow, I'm genuinely impressed! I'm so going to preorder the limited edition of this game.
Trailer is cool
e: I would love to have this on PC but I just know there is no chance I would be able to run it. I'll get it for 360, then 5 years later buy it off steam for 10 dollars, just like I did with Oblivion. |
I've watched the trailer so many times that i think im having an awesomeness overdose.
looks the same
As Oblivion? Yes. The graphics aren't the exciting part.
I read a game magazine that drooled over the fact you get to pick from ten races in Skyrim.
Um...did they even play Oblivion? :
:
I know I know, but it's the fact that there were ten races in Oblivion too.
There are several more races, though they're all in the farflung continent of Akavir. |
I'm hoping they'll include anthropomorphic barnacles. I've waited years to see those.
Is that canon or just something you think should be included?
It's all my idea. Barnacle variants are extremely under-represented in all fantasy settings.
Because they stick to things and are hard to pry off.
Unless they include barnacles stuck to the boughs of ships! |
