Quite true. As you age, Santa stops getting your back and the Easter bunny stops being a mad playa. Yet on the cusp of adulthood, the whole world opens up beneath you like a great crystal ball of fuck; you see new horizons in your life and the endless chances and possibilities slowly crack their way through your juvenile armor. Suddenly anything and everything bursts into your life and nothing can stop you if you chase your dreams like a dream fuckler. To be an adult is to be a powerful, decision making machine. No more games, now it's for real.

BUT, I've realized that it's much more fun growing old if you're not holding onto all the stuff out of your childhood. It's like, "that stuff was cool" and all, but to be living it while denying that time is moving on turns life into a job.

It's a lot more fun to reflect on it with appreciation than to deny your age.

Most of you won't know what I'm talking about until the next generation starts coming out with stuff that's different from what you used to love.
