I watched the Trailer Park Boys Movie last night. I haven't seen it in awhile but it's still pretty funny. I tend to watch the show on the early timeslots, though, so it seemed out of place without the censors.

Just finished watching Downfall on youtube. Great movie. Both fascinating and rather enlightening.

OANST 06-26-2009 11:29 AM

I saw Speed Racer a few days ago. Surprisingly, I didn't hate it.

Laser 06-27-2009 01:54 PM

I watched Silence of The Lambs and The Shawshank Redemption.

Both superb films which I am glad I have seen...espically the Shawshank Redemption, easily one of the best films I have ever seen

dont get me started on Shawshank, it's a great film.

i talked at length about it with AlexFili.

Really? Just the title put me off. Is it worth making an effort to see, or is it just a film for if nothing else is on?

Nate 06-27-2009 05:52 PM

It's totally worth seeing if you like films with a fantastic visual style, a stylistic approach that avoids realism and a quirky sense of humour. If you don't like those things, you'll hate it.

Leto 06-27-2009 08:29 PM

come on, if you're gonna have an imitation alcar account, at least have the common fucking deceny to act like a faggot and close posts with "Alcar...".

Nate 06-27-2009 10:13 PM

Damn. And I'm the one who pointed out to the original AlcarSpawn that he should be doing that.

Alcar...

i liked speed racer, just didn't like how he used the mach 6 for the majority of the film, and i thought it was a bit anticlimactic. but i loved how colorful it was, reminded me of dick tracy.

i just saw transformers 2 in imax and i liked it a lot, i thought it was better than the first one. everybody is bashing those two little autobots "the twins" but i thought they were cute i liked them. my only problem with the movie was that i felt optimus prime was too powerful, i liked the fight between prime and megatron i nthe first movie better and i'm sure people who know what i'm talking about will agree :)

but don't let the critics change your mind go and see it yourself!

Two Girls, One Cup. Stupid URL re-directory, I never saw it coming. Especially when you cannot cancel it.

I'm contemplating suicide now.

OddjobAbe 06-30-2009 01:22 PM

Windows+D is your friend when it comes to shit like that.

Anonyman! 06-30-2009 01:47 PM

Dixanadu 06-30-2009 01:51 PM

With an attitude like that, I'd say you were a coprophiliac.

OANST 06-30-2009 02:10 PM

With a statement like that, I would say that you think you will sound smart if you look up the technical terms for things and then post them on the internet.

Keep it up! It's working!

Leto 06-30-2009 03:10 PM

You soiled yourself?

What are you, some kind of coprophiliac?

Anonyman! 06-30-2009 03:14 PM

Oh you.

Strike Witch 06-30-2009 06:22 PM

How come soil as in crap your pants is the same word as dirt you plant stuff in?

used:) 06-30-2009 06:57 PM

Well, manure is used in fertilizer. Speculating...

I just saw "Pan's Labyrinth". Not at all bad. The ending annoyed me, though.

Wings of Fire 07-01-2009 07:20 AM

Try to look at it through different perspectives.

OANST 07-01-2009 07:55 AM

Anyone who has seen Pan's Labyrinth should also make sure to see The Devil's Backbone. Personally, I think it's Del Toro's best film.

Laser 07-01-2009 08:16 AM

Some fool linked me 2 kids in a sandbox, I believe it is called.

Holy shit, I am scarred for life

I had a similar feeling after I watched 2 girls 1 cup at a friends house. One of them threw up all over the couch, the other was near enough screaming and me and the person who's house it was were just laughing at the weak stomachs of the other two who claim to be the ultimate Macho men. =D

I watched that recently. My reaction was video-taped...it wasn't pretty.

Indeed. Del Toro's works are incredibly imaginative. I liked the atmosphere in Pan's Labyrinth more though.

Leto 07-01-2009 08:50 PM
