Crysis 2

Started hard difficulty playthrough and playing some multiplayer. Some of the unlocks in the multiplayer are just fucking ridiculous, game modes are unlocked after fucking hours of play. It also seems the Call of Duty crowd got to it, and camping with cloak is terrible. I usually cycle through games until I find a group not doing that shit.

Just now? When I tried the MP beta there were already many campers.

Oh right. I assumed it didn't have opening credits. >.>

I'm gonna get it on Monday, I'm sure it'll keep me occupied for a month or so.

Fucking shit, I just tried playing Team Fortress 2 for the first time in almost 2 years and it's changed so much. WTF, you can literally buy hats? 15€ for a fucking fedora? The hell?!

And is it possible to trade with other players now or what? I also saw that really expensive Japan charity hat or whatever.

I don't know what I'm supposed to do in that crafting thing either, I have 2 scrap metal and some guns, that's it! Gosh, TF2 is so weird now. Back in '08 it was fun as hell when playing as the sniper in custom maps, now I'm just surrounded by freaky looking soldiers and heavies with golden miniguns and afro-hats.

I fucking loved Lost Odyssey though, I'd say it was better than the FF series and as you mentioned the soundtrack was absolutely orgasmic.

I got Amnesia Dark Descent and I love the atmosphere, its pretty jumpy, didn't think it would be scary but hey what a surprise, yet to see the shadow though.

My favourite part of Lost Odyssey was the visual novel bits. The story was so meh.

Ha, I've never lost any actual abilities, but then, the only spell I bother with is level 1 Time control, for the teleport. Apart from having the foresight and charm to outsource your grinding to an actual person, which is impressive, that's the hard way to get your real estate monopoly. The trick is to use naturally acquired gold to buy the stalls, then the caravans, the cheap houses and so on, working your way up purely on rent money while you play the actual game parts of the game.

Trading is initiated by going to the main menu, clicking 'Manage items' and selecting trading, which is the rightmost icon at the bottom of the screen.

In terms of Gameplay, it hasn't changed that much since it first came out, they've only added stuff.

Anyway, I played through Portal today to show it off to a couple of friends. They spent the entire time complaining about it.

I watched Ridg3 complete it in just under an hour.

The story so far sucks, and the way you move the person sucks, and how you have to observe everything to get to the next area sucks.
Demons aren't half bad though. Adn the graphics are decent. I don't know, what do you guys think about Silent Hill games?

Okayish. I remember a game I played on the Xbox, ObsCure. It put itself apart from Resi/S-Hill horrors and was pretty good and damn scary at times.

Only drawback was it was very short. 3-4 hours, give or take.

I remember trying Silent Hill: Home-something, I can't remember, but I thought it was pretty shitty. The older Silent Hills were pretty scary though.

Yeah, anything after 3 isn't a real Silent Hill game.

I've never played any of the Silent Hill games at all, should I start with 2 or 1? Is it a continuous story?

1 and 3 follow the same continuity, 2 is a side story.

2 is a must play, but 1 and 3 are also really really great.

Is 4 any good? (Or whatever it's called. Was it 'The Room' or something?)

I liked The Room. It wasn't as good as the rest, but still enjoyable. And fairly creepy.

Homecoming for the 360 is a total turd, though. Don't even think about that one.

4 has some genuinely good moments, and a lot of quite clever ideas but ultimately bad pacing, difficulty and repetition kill it.

The second half of the game being the first half chased by an invincible pistol wielding freak with mommy issues is a good idea in principle but....

Its fucking amazing, brings back good memories however I don't remember it being so fricking hard to controll!
