Rap. And seeing as I posted this particular song, I have to post this song. The bagpipes in this song is nearly note for note the same in the other one. |
Her voice is friggin beautiful.... Listen to the song in it entirety.

John Butler Trio - Ocean
This song has to be one of the greatest acoustic instrumentals I have ever heard and I urge everyone to listen to it at least once. Everyone should like this song. |
Great song, creepy video.

Since I'm into Destruction now I thought I would pick up some albums.
I got this compilation from HMV for £12 (Best Image I could Find) It contains the albums Mad Butcher Eternal Devastation Sentence of Death Infernal Overkill So I thought great! £12! For 4 Albums! Considering I saw Fear Factory's Digimortal for £15 nearby (I got my copy for 98 pence) I thought that this was a great deal. Well......sort of............. Mad Butcher has only 4 songs. 1 of which is a cover and another is intrumental. The way this compilation is organised is that there are 2 CD's and there are 2 albums per CD. Had nothing but problems getting it all correct on my Ipod. Firstly, iTunes didn't recognise the CD's so I had to go through and name all the tracks and albums ETC myself. Now acording to the box the CD with Sentence of Death and Infernal Overkill totals to 14 tracks on the CD. So I became very very confused as to why there were only 13 tracks on the CD. Turns out "Intro" and "Total Desaster" even though they are listed as seperate tracks on the box are actually merged into one. I realised this when I was naming all the tracks and become confused as to why there was no 14. After playing the songs through iTunes and looking on Youtube to see if I had named the tracks correctly........... I hadn't. So I had to go back and rename them all correctly. Put the CD's in my Xbox to burn them to the hard drive oh look........... The Xbox immeditaly has all the tracks and albums named. So why did iTunes have trouble indentifying the names? Becuase iTunes fails as always |
Huh? I've never ever had a problem with iTunes and (for me at least) it downloads the tracks from the CD really quick. The names are also correct every time.
But why would you listen to your music on an Xbox? Or do you do so only whilst you're gaming? That's what I do from time to time. Blur online + Chemical Brothers = Awesome. |
iTunes. What a horrible, unfriendly, shitty piece of software. I use Winamp because it is cool.
Also, Nightwish... God, I do love me some Marco. If only I were gay then I'd crack one off to his beard. |

D'yer Mak'er (Yer Maker not Jamaica) By Led Zeppelin, how did I not know this song until today?
|
In my opinion this is actually better than the studio recording. You decide!
|
Fear Factory is way too heavy for me but I agree. Most live stuff kicks the ass of studio recording, and it's better whenever you're there to see them live.
|
I also like iTunes, and Fear Factory. Haven't heard much of their stuff though.
Also, Ridg3, I don't understand how they're "too heavy" for you, but you like stuff like SYL. Their "City" album is like the heaviest shit ever. I really love Kid Cudi. |
I was being sarcastic. Speaking of SYL, Mr Townsend will be gracing our beautiful homeland to play some shows. LIEK OMFG I NEED A TICKET NAOW!!
And speaking of heavy bands: Good British band. |
Beautiful.

Sorry for double post.
I like a few Infected Mushroom songs, this one's pretty good IMO. |
Call it pretentious if you must. It's fucking fantastic. *dances* |
Holy shit I was just gonna post that song the other day, actually. Amazing song, I love the jazz feel it's got. Rules so hard.
|
|
I should probably get into Sufjan.
almost forgot how good this album was |
This thread needs more electronica!
There, enjoy. |
It needs more good electronica.
I don't listen to much of the stuff, really. |
Are you saying that my post was not filled with good electronica? :p
|
Nah, I was just fuckin' around. The ones I posted are just some of my all-time faves.
And this: I'm sure you already know Aphex Twin, but you might not know this song. It's different from his more recent work- more sane, lol. I prefer it over the crazy, acid techno stuff. One of my favourite songs ever. |
Actually, I have heard Heliosphan. It is pretty different from his usual stuff, yeah. It's good.
|
Got my ticket to see Devin Townsend and some other wierd Kane look-a-like band called Turisas or something. Folk metal band, should be a good start to the night but thankfully Mr. Townsend is closing the night. Now I have to budget to afford a hotel room, travel costs and enough money to see me around Belfast for the day.
|
Devin's one artist I definitely need to see before I die. Kind of sad that I haven't already, but no one fucking does shows around here. Be sure to let me know how the setlist is!
Also, Turisas is a pretty fun folk metal band. I can imagine them being a good time live. With alcohol, of course. Have fun dude! |
did someone say electronica
|
Yeah, Madeon's stuff is amazing. Already posted that in the Bits 'n Pieces. :p
|
Figures I would miss it, the guy is wonderfully fresh in the electronic scene and I can't wait to see the stuff he makes as he gets older. Right now the "thing" is thrown in glitchy trash and boy I'm anxious for that to phase out.
