I think he meant that even without permission, he likes the forum.
That makes even less sense.
Translation:
"Hello, I would like to enter your server. Even if you don't give me permission for the server, I'm still a big fan of this forum." He seems nice. |
That makes more sense.
That's what I said! <.< Not my fault you don't understand.
We were making movies in Rupture Farms when Azkes the Cursed, the dude we had to kill for the adventure, took advantage of the fact that many people were on at once and came to see us. I was short with him, and for that I apologise, I know he was trying to entertain us and all - I was stressed 'cause I was trying to film and things kept going wrong despite my best efforts.
This is what happened: What I didn't get on film was him saying that there are more dangerous adventures out there waiting for us. |
So it was Wariopunk who pushed me off!
Get out of here! You walked off the edge!
Curses! I wish I was there! Also this is turning into Shadow of Israphel. I LIKE IT!
Can they not use The End? That's already a far-off goal that we're setting towards achieving.
It's funny. I was thinking just yesterday about how overused and underwhelming Cthulhu had become in pop culture.
Yeah, to be honest I was a little disappointed when this Azkes dude said that himself, I was hoping the lava mounds weren't done by the same person.
Still, we'll see where he's going with this. :) |
Lava mounds?
Some idiot left a lava mound in the middle of the river in Exoddus a while back, with a sign referring to Cthulhu. It burned down a part of Splat's melon farm and left a massive hole in the middle of the river after I got rid of it. It took me about 45 minutes to clear it up and fix the river, with Minecraft's dodgy water physics, and I wasn't happy.
Might be a recommended build of Craftbukkit later tonight. It's about bloody time.
Splat, why do I have a feeling that the giant obsidian Enderman holding a house has something to do with you?
I was shocked. |
Wait what? That sounds awesome.

Moi? Just because I spent a week in an obsidian mine, and just 'cus someone left a sign in the house saying 'built by Splat with help from AlexFili and Darkhoodness', you think it was me? Consequential evidence at best!
Also, you didn't actually look at it did you? |
I admit it, I built it. You can all thank me now.
I personally don't mind the storyline as of now.
Server has been updated to Craftbukkit build #1597: 1.0.1-R1. Since this is a recommended build it should deal with any small glitches that remained on the server. I just did a quick walktrough, all worlds are still connected and working. Biomes seem to be okay as well. Enjoy! |
EDIT: I would have liked to film the boardroom scene for the AO intro in Minecraft on Saturday and I posted an announcement here advertising so, directing people to check the RF topic, but looks like people are too busy.
It will, however, be postponed until after Christmas, so if people can tell me when they are free so I can better judge when to hold this event, it would be a great help to me and this project can finally be done. :) |
Okay, try to be more active, to win the permits. :)
Trying to be more active just to get on the server?
Do you even know what Oddworld is? :tard: |
The cow in my farm keeps getting out. No matter how many times I close the gate to his pen behind me, he always out patrolling the rest of the facility when I return. Is this a bug or is someone just being annoying?
Why not making the pen one fence higher?
Because I shouldn't have to.
I suppose, I always find mobs to be really glitchy in SMP. All you can really do is bring the Cow into the pen with wheat then quicky get back outside.
I don't think you understand. I can get the cow into the pen. I can shut him in the pen. If I log off for a while, whenever I come back he's always out again.
It happens mainly when multiple animals gather at the same spot of the fence, and they sort of glitch each other over it.
This is a single cow, though.
I still think I'm just going to have to make it higher. |
Won't necessarily work. Mobs, fences and pens are pretty glitchy at the moment. Chickens push each other into the sides of blocks and suffocate. Mobs can jump over two-block-high-fences. I think mobs' interactions with blocks were never great, and now they're persistent and getting locked together all the time, the extent of the glitches is becoming evident.

*Shameless double-posting*
Everyone's favourite 50-metre tall resident of Ma'Spa just got his Christmas gear on. |
More importantly, will you be able to face taking it all off again?
I used your method, Edd, of cheating and using creative mode; sorry boys and girls, but I didn't fancy collecting about 20 stacks of wool and dying it suitably to make something that'll be gone in three weeks. After Christmas I'll strip off the sleeves (to keep the house safe), take out his ice eyes (to stop them running) and golden buttons and then set fire to the boots; I'll let people know when so they can come and watch.
I started off planning to do a hat, then decided to do a beard too, and then the rest. The only other step would have been to replace the house with a present but that'd take too much effort to put back. The spider crawling on its beard is part of the decoration. As were the three creepers that spawned inside its hat. |
Haha damn that's awesome. Love it, Splat!
