Oh, I forgot. You were a bad boy. |

Just get a Wii, you can play gamecube games on that.
|
And pay more than for a GameCube? That's a little much just to spite somebody.
Also, I just watched Benny Hill. Hilarious stuff. |
:

Also, the Gamecube has the gameboy player. |
Just started watching Leverage. Cool tv series, think I'll enjoy it for the episodes to come. Has good potential for one season at least, dunno how long it's gonna stay 'fresh'.
|
I watched Wanted yesterday and i enjoyed it.
|
Watched Transformers again.
Fucking awesome. Then I watched Beast Wars. Fucking awesomer. |
To each their own.
|
Observe and Report. Very good, but not what you think it is.
|
There's been a lot of stupid-looking movies that have actually been quite good recently. I don't know if I've mentioned it, but Role Models was surprisingly amusing.

A few hours ago, I had to watch a Loose Women show with Emily. Those lasses are very irritating. I have a strong dislike for how they communicate. I know exactly what I dislike about it, but I can't think of the right word to describe it.
You know, I think most of it is to do with my dislike for women. Look at it like this - the bloody suffrage movement was about equality, and yet here a lot of women are babbling on how "men are only good for this, that and the other, other than that, useless". Quite amusingly, this is most of our (men's) attitude towards them. Yes, there is equality (at least technically), but looking at most people's attitude, there may as well not be. Women are becoming too much like men. That is not at all attractive. Then again, I am old-fashioned. I recently saw Saw after hearing so much about it. It wasn't bad, but I've seen better. I also saw the remake of the Chainsaw Massacre. It relied too heavily on special effects. It just wasn't as bizarre as the original. |
I saw Max on Heavygate road. :D
It was either an old bearded man who I waved to or Max. I need some opinions. ABM |
Daytime TV sucks in general to be honest. Thank god for DVDs.
I watched Shawshank Redemption today, the piece of music I played after it? Queen's "I want to break free". |

Anime-wise, I've picked up K-On!, Sengoku Basara, and Valkyria Chronicles.
K-On! is a comedy about a light music club. It's pretty funny and the instruments are all perfectly accurate and stuff too. Sengoku Basara is this really hilarious overdone Japanese history lesson with lots of manly face-punching and epic fights. And Valkyria Chronicles is pretty cool Alt-history action, it's based on the game. |
I've never played it - is it good?
ABM |
My mom made me sit through Doubt.
It was meh. |
I like the Dynasty Warriors / Sengoku story. It has heroes, villains, epic fights, hot chicks, etc.
(I'll try and cut down on how many times I reply to the same topic in future) |
You post too much.
|
Entirely.
|
I saw The Boat that Rocked, a film about a pirate radio station broadcast from a boat anchored in the North Sea in 1966. Historically inaccurate, but epically enjoyable.
|
My dad saw an advanced preview of that BM. He said it was the biggest piece of crap he's seen in years. But the reviews seem to disagree with that. Is it just a straight forward comedy?
|
The reviews here seem to be agreeing with your dad, Hobo. Perhaps british reviewers feel they need to support their local industry by lying?
|
I have just finished watching Nuts in May. It was hilarious, if you ever get the opportunity to watch it, I'd recommend it.

Saw Run Fatboy Run on Friday
Saw Aliens Yesterday Both good movies. |
