Fate of the staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrs RIDING UP YOUR BUTT |
:
Nightwish - Wish I Had An Angel This music video contains also clips from movie called "Alone in the dark" But movie itself wasn't so good, but goes greatly with this music video... :p |
Once was an embarrassing album after Century Child.
wait shit I don't listen to Nightwish. I don't! |
DJ Hi-Tek will fuck you in the ass.

THIS is metal; |
This is metal:
|
But the singer doesn't sound as though he's farting down a drainpipe. It's not metal enough.
|
This is the reason I haven't considered myself a metal fan since I was seventeen.
|
This is such a great feel good song.
|
:
btw great music. ;) Edit: Can omeone find / suggest also bands like symphonic metal as Nightwish? :p |
:
Stratovarius Gamma Ray Blind Guardian (Old) Edguy (By extension Avantasia) Aina Dimmu Borgir Green Carnation Within Temptation Kamelot That's all I remember from my misspent youth at the moment. |

:
Incidently, I still like a couple of those bands. Blind Guardian and Green Carnation in particular are amazing, so go fuck yourself and take your trying-too-hard metal with you. |
I'm sorry. When I listen to metal my elitism levels go through the roof. I should probably cut back on my intake.
Too much metal is bad for you, you know. |
I used to be an elitist "metal fan" when I was like 13. But then I realized how much of a fucking moron I was being now I don't give a shit what "kind" of metal people listen to. Shit's called metal because it's heavier than rock. Everyone's got different tastes in metal anyways assuming they like metal.
Anywho, listening to this right now, which is not metal in any shape way or form sorry to disappoint: |
:
Very, very little symphonic metal do I listen to these days, but when I do, I listen to Delain and Within Temptation. |

Incidentally my favourite song not by Iron Maiden or Skyclad. |

The last Opeth album was actually really good considering how it's such a departure from their signature sound. I've never been a massive fan of their metal stuff (very hit or miss in terms of albums, though they have some amazing songs), but this feels much less forced and more natural than the stuff they've been churning out over the last decade, bar Damnation. Mikael really knows his 1970's progressive rock, and can emulate the main bands of that era quite well while still maintaining his own unique sound. |
Geez, I don't show up here for a couple of weeks and it's already the Elitist Apocalypse...So, to make the sour taste go away, have some Bonobo:
|
I know Bonobo via Cyriak.
|
ad Been obsessing over this band for a couple weeks now. Really fucking good stuff. Guys are fantastic musicians. It's really a shame that the frontman jumped of a church. |
|
Fucking addicted to these guys.
|
I really like Megadeth at the minute. I've had this album since the release but it's only recently that I'm giving it a great deal of attention, and it's probably their best to date (definitely better than Endgame, but that was pretty good too.) |
