UCK! I hate the Cry exploding steam engine. It churns it's way to death while it keeps your computer stuck in a trance, no matter how long you wait, your computer is fucked either way.

Just about everyone hates it.

Get a better computer. That engine is not designed to be run at the highest settings on any average computer.

When the very first Cry Engine game Crysis 1 came out I made the same mistake. I had a top of the line computer at the time, all the latest hardware. So I figured I should be able to run it on Ultra. Running around was still possible, be it far from smooth. But the initial jump from the plane was horrible with framerate 1. And I couldn't go into the options either because it was still considered a cutscene, lol. Took like 10 minutes to finally hit the ground.

I once danced the Caramelldansen with my mates at a houseparty. Yep.

I'm sure Wil would give you a private tour of the JAW HQ just to have video of that. No wait, then he'd have you alone. Don't do it!

I was already unimpressed by how dismissive and condescending the guy sounded, but when he starts laying into Phil Fish after only getting halfway through the video? That’s when I had enough.

You do realize that the reviewer(s) and the whole channel is basically satire? None the less, they are usually correct or have a good point despite the sarcastic attitude and such.

He is full of himself, thinks that his game is a masterpiece and insults everyone giving him any sort of feedback. Plus, he looks like a fucking dork with those hipster glasses and the ugly as hell sideburns.

Fez is actually a pretty amazing game.

I figured as much, but as you said they obviously mean what they say. I can’t stand the smug “HEH indie games” and “HEH people think games are art” tones in the video, satire or not.


When did we as a society start judging creative works based on the people who made them? This is what I hate so much about the whole Fez hate brigade.
