(hey guys ive been getting this error message saying "bandwitch limted exceeded" when i wanted to come here did any of you guys get that message too.

drake takes a sip from his canteen and then picks up his pack"ok nig......lets go"drake starts to walk in the direction of the camp when they got there drake scans the area to see cursuv and rope talking and pyre sittng by the pond.drake walks over to the pond and washes the remaining blood from his face without saying a word to pyre, and then walks back to the rest of the group

Nig thinks as he walks back into the group:
Ten years without contact...
yep, that'd warp you pretty bad.

Well, at least everyone else seems sane enough.

Nig: *to Pyre* "Everything okay?"


(*hugs screen as OWF logo loads* "It's BACK!! ^.^")

Rope is sitting and waiting for some kind of response to his little plan.

(Ooc: Oh, sorry about that, Dave)
Cursuv: *Arises from his thoughts and goes through the last two minutes or so*
"Ah. Plan. East. Gates. Sounds good."
*Sorts out his thoughts and then addresses everyone*
"Ok! We have Rope's plan here."
*draws a diagram in the sand*
"For those of you that missed it; We have us here, the base here, somewhere in the north-easterly direction, the backup generator here, to the north. Drake blew up the generator, I'd be suprised if there were one slig within five (whatevers) that doesn't know by now; Rope thinks that they will head right to the gen, then back to us. Taking the masses we saw - and felt - earlier as an example, we can't fight them. Rope suggests we head east in the hopes that there will be a back enterance, and I agree with him. Who else does?"

Nig: "Sounds like a good plan, Cursuv, I mean, Rope."
*looks towards the east*
Nig: *to Drake* "Anything you want to add, or do you think we should do it?"

drake: *to nig* i do have something to add......if we go east and then to the factory the sligs will probably pick up our trail and follows back to the factory and if they do were stuck in that factory and we might not get out.......so im going to put up traps around the forest where there gonna come through.....if all of you agree.

Cursuv: "Ah, good idea. If you could somehow lead them away from our actual trail, that would also be good."

Pyre snaps out of his trance as he hears Nig's voice. He hastily turned to the mudokon and replied with a shaky voice :"Oh... me... I'm---I'm, fine... I'm okay.. really. Don't worry about me..."

He waited till Nig left back to the others and sighed aloud. He looked down at the calm pond. He was able to see his own reflection---but he didn't like what he saw. Pyre quickly touched the tranquil surface, causing ripples to appear and distort his face. The face he now saw was not his. It was something more horrid.

Suddenly, images start to flash in his mind. Images of war, hate, love and death. He could see all his teammates...all dieing a horrible death.
And as fast as it started, the images fade and Pyre could again see his own reflection on the pond.

He could only shut his eyes and turn his head away from the pond. Pyre opened his eyes when he was sure that he could not see the pond anymore.
He saw his friends gathered up not too far away.

Pyre smiled and stood up. He was about to leave till he spotted his whip on the ground. Puzzled, he picked it up. Pyre sighed at this and walked slowly to the others- not saying a word.

Nig: "What about useing the trees? If we climbed the trees and jumped from branch to branch... we'd probably end up injured..."

*notices Pyre walking over*
Nig: "Pyre, what do you think?
We're planing to go to the factory indirectly, with Drake planting traps along the way to boobytrap our tracks. Any idea on how to become more... untrackable?"

without a word drake walks past pyre and heads to the treeline of the camp and starts planting traps for the sligs."We better get going i think i can hear them coming"drake quickly finishes the last trap and grabs his pack and sword and runs over to the rest of the group"shall we go??"

Nig: "Yeah... better get moving."
*walks over to Pyre*
Nig: *keeping his voice low so Drake can't hear*"Are you okay? You seem a little... disturbed."

drake qucikly packs his pack full of items including traps to put up along the way
drake walks over to the edge of the camp to the exit"can we go....is everyone ready???"

Pyre shrugs and whispers to Nig,
"I'm fine, just a little concerned...Drake doesn't understand that he might risk us all by doing something drastic.", he sighed.

He smiled sadly and placed his hand on Nig's shoulder.
"I'm sorry about what happened earlier. Sometimes I have troubles controlling my anger."

Nig: *still to Pyre* "I know he's a little... abrupt, but give him a chance.
He may have caused sligs to swarm on us before, but I've a feeling he knows what he's doing. If he gets out of hand, I'll try to stop him."

Nig: *loud so everyone can here* "Everyone okay to move off?"

Gah! forgot about this thread. Can someone update me to what's happening? There's a cookie in it for you!

ooc:that cookies mine...ok so we have a new character rope(dave) who joined in we just been doing stuff at the camp pyre(red muse) attacked me from anger and so on but not much has happend and we just about to go to the factory

drake:*to everyone* lets go guys you dont want to be close to these traps when they go off"
.......drake notices nig and pyre talking knowing its about him...drake walks up to them
drake:*to nig pretending not to see pyre*you coming.....its about time we left"

(Ooc: *Walks up behind the brew master and quietly knocks him out*
Oh, dear! The brew master seems to have spontaneously fallen to sleep! In the meantime, I could take care of that cookie that Hobo was going to give him. Don't want anyone eating it instead of him, do we? Do we?)
Cursuv: "Yes, we should get going. There are several sligs coming our way, and If we don't move soon we may be spotted."

Nig: *faceing Pyre* "Fine, let's get moving."
*walks towards the edge of clearing*
"Uh, Drake, you'd better lead since you planted to traps."

(OOC: Back from Florida! So now I can reply!)
Rope hears a very faint whirr-whirr-whirring somewhere in the distance. Slig pants? Maybe. He breaks his silence.
Rope: Uhh, guys? I am feeling very sure there are sligs approaching. They'll catch up with us pretty soon, so we'd better get cracking.
Rope falls into step behind Drake.

Nig: "Fast as you can Drake."

*starts jogging, then running, then sprinting to keep up with Drake*

Nig: "Okay... maybe not that fast"
*slows to a jog*
Nig: "Good!*turns his head* Everyone able to keep this pace?"

*gives out cookies to all* Cool, I'll start again sometime soon

drake then stops jogging and stands under a tree branch

drake:everyone stop!

drake jumps up onto the branch and puts his had out for the others to get up
.after everyone climbed up draked jumped off the other side.

drake: ok everyone jump one by one to where i am standing....no less...no further

everyone landed perfactly after they started running again..then suddenly they stopped

drake: ok nig and rope follow me...i need to check something out everyone else stay here hidden in the bushes....be careful there are still traps up ahead so dont wonder away.

Nig: "Uh, Drake... why only us two?"
*looks at Rope and see's he's a little puzzled too*

Nig: "Drake, I think it's best if you let the party find out everything instead of just us three... unless it's an exposed area..."
Nig's thoughts:
Okay, either Drake is planning to ambuse me and Rope, or wants to do something more than likely suicidal without Pyre knowing...
...or else he really hates Pyre and is just trying to exclude him.

I can trust Drake... i hope...
Nig: "Rope, you stay here. I'll go with Drake"

Cursuv: *Leaps into the bushes, and waits.*

Rope is puzzled, but decides not to mess with the group dynamics.
Rope: "Whatever."
After they leave, Rope slips off, unnoticed, to follow Nig and Drake.

As Nig follows Drake off the track, he tries not to make much noise.
He listens to se if he can hear anything that would explain Drake's odd action.

Nig: *in a very low voice* "Okay Drake, what are we looking for? Or is there another reason why you wanted to talk to me?"

drake says nothing in return to nig then he draws his sword and strikes near nig killing the slig behind him

drake:they found a different route...i heard them while we were going....thats why i wanted only two people to come and the rest to hide...so they would follow us without seeing the rest of the group....i heard three of them coming so theres two left we better take care of them...i have an idea.

drake takes out a long piece of rope and ties one end onto the tree and holds the other end while hiding in the bushes.

drake:nig hide in the bushes

after nig hid in the bushes the two sligs came running down the path then drake pulls the rope triping both of the sligs.drake takes out his sword and impales one and ties up the other.drake takes the sligs weapon and throws it into the water and then grabs the rope and starts draging the slig along the ground.

drake:nig....you coming????...we better get back to the group before something happens.

Rope is a little confused, but otherwise understands Drake's motives: He didn't want the entire group to be discovered. Clever. But how had the sligs caught up that quickly?
Rope worked his way around and ahead the others, and snuck up a tree to take a look around.
What Rope saw hardly surprised him. They were all less than half a mile away from the rear entrance to the factory, and sligs were marching into the woods in alarming numbers.
Forgetting that he was supposed to be undercover, Rope quickly (and very un-stealthily, he complained to himself) climbed down the tree to warn everyone.

(Ooc: Unnoticed, says you, hey?)
Cursuv: *Hiding in the bushes, he wonders if he is the only other one who knows that Rope went off, however stealthily, after Drake and Nig*
Thoughts: 'You'll have to be dead to sneak away from me unnoticed. Unless I'm unconcious, or dead, maybe. Or I lost my ability... ah, that's not the point. I wonder when every one else figures this out...'

Nig: *to Drake* "I wonder why Cursuv didn't detect the sligs..."

*hears leaves rustling ahead*
Nig: *adjusts grip on staff* "And what's this?

Rope?! What's wrong?"

(Ooc: Wow, that was quick! You posted just two minutes after me!
As for my character not detecting the sligs... we'll call it lack of concentration, for now, as he was concentrating on rope and without concentrating can't detect things too far away. But for future reference, if you want him to detect things, PM me.)

Rope tumbles into Nig and Drakes hiding place.
Rope: Guys! Keep quiet! There are sligs marching right towards us! We need to get moving and find another way into the factory!

drake pulls out a map and starts looking at it.

drake:ah..ha i found it if we go west and set up a trap for them they wont know what hit them....and i know the perfect bait for the trap*looks at the tied up slig behind him*

the three head west and reach a small bushy area with lots of the trees...drake ties the slig onto on of the tree branches and stuffes his mouth full of cloth.

drake:you guys go and find as many rocks as you can and find a good stop on the tree....when i say fire start throwing the rocks at the sligs...aim for the mask...im gonna stay done here in the bushes...i hear something get ready guys.

Rope quickly glances around to recall where he is. It was, afterall, his land. He had the area catalogued pretty well. It took about four seconds to remember where he was. Then it came to him.
Rope: Nig, I know where there are rocks. About forty feet that way (points directly past Drake's head and further into the underbrush), I keep a rock sack hanging from a tree shaped like a hand. Let's get moving, but stay low and stay quiet! I can hear it (ooc: what drake hears), too! Follow me!
Rope crawls into the bushes at an alarming speed, but is eerily silent.

Nig: "I think this is why Pyre doesn't like Drake, he seems to rush into things."
*picks up around 8 rocks*
Nig: "I wonder if this will work. Rocks don't seem all that effective *looks at staff*... and this thing's now a little too short.
*sigh* When we get a chance, remind me to ask you where to find a decent tree"

drake notices a vine above his head and decides to climb up the tree.drake grabs the vine and hides behind a branch.

drake:"there coming get ready guys"then suddenly all the sligs had arrived and had taken the bait"ok on my signal....FIRE!!"

the two mudokens started throwing rocks at the sligs knocking out half of them
drake tightly held the vine and swung down knocking down the other half

drake:"so.....what should we do with them???"

Rope: Well, duh. We can't leave them here, because they'll have slogs out any second. And reinforcements. I don't know how we can move all the bodies, but I can mask the scent, so that the slogs won't be able to track us. Tell you what, you guys work on the bodies, and I'll disperse our scent.
Rope set to work, doing an eerie little jig, moving erratically, appearing at odd places around the scene. His motion between spots was very hard to see, but it wasn't entirely unnoticeable.
As he worked, he waited for Nig and Drake to dispose of the bodies.

Nig: "C'mon, Drake. Work to do"
*picks up a slig*
Nig: "Uh... we need a pit, or something... Remember Drake, if you draw blood, nothing'll stop those Slogs, so just beat them a little if you're angry"

drake:"huh...whats going on i couldnt hear you cause i was beating this slig"

drake picks two sligs one over each shoulder and takes them into the bushes and drops them.

drake:"ok...so how are we supposed to dig a pit...with our bare hands???"
