When will it be available on Steam?

Alot of people talked about "30-days exclusivity" for PS4. And it's been announced that the PC version will come after PS4. So I suppose we could see some kind of pre-order on Steam on 12.8 or later. I really hope it will be available around 23.8(If that exclusivity is true).

I'm pretty excited for this idea, the money for New N' Tasty has been sitting in my bank account for a while now, so I'll be pre ordering the steam version as soon as exclusivity drops.

I for one, welcome our new loin cloth overlords.

So NnT is 10 days away.. I hate to sound naggy, but when do the winners of 'Name Abe HD' get their goodies? Im not complaining, just wondering :)

I was lucky enough to be able to get the leather bound limited edition a couple years ago, and absolutely love it! Then they went and announced the super limited 'folio edition'.

Very tempted to get one of these too. There's only a handful left, but $290 is a lot :fuzconf:

Is there supposed to be a way to pre-order something in the PSN store without using a console? Or could I, for example, pre-order it on my PS3 and play it on a PS4 when it releases?

i couldn't find a pre-order link on pn on my ps3. it'll probably show up at one point though.

If you're in Europe, its not available yet. Only in US and Canada. Also it's PS4 Only at the moment.

And do you reckon that if Abe's Exoddus gets the treatment, they could include more coverage of his whereabouts in the M.O.M News? Molluck's Hiding was one of the biggest mysteries of Oddworld since the happenings of Abe's Oddysee IMO :)

There are two ways they could do it:

1. Show him quietly crawling away from Big Face and Abe unseen.

2. Deep fry. Extra crispy. :D

I doubt it. Having Molluck explicitly survive in the end of AO would compromise the happy ending. And the point of AE was that his status is still a mystery. Best leave it to a future Munch or Squeek game.

Yup, I agree with Nate, I feel Molluck has still an important role to play and that it will be revealed in due time.

Oh yeah. Im so fucking happy I can pre order and have the extras. Its also a bonus that the game will be cheaper but personally I thought 20 pounds was a very reasonable price that I would have been happy to pay.

I like how OWI/JAW decided to align the prices to the US one, this way if you decided to get PS+ for the month the price will be rougly the same as the price communicated before.

However I'm not sure I'll get PS+ for a month. I'll just wait until the two items get released and pay for them when they come out.

Can someone clarify for me... Do I need the Playstation Plus subscription to be active whilst I purchase New 'N' Tasty, or when Alf Escape and the costume come out? Or will these times overlap?

Also, will I still be able to purchase the Alf levels and the costume individually without this Playstation Plus stuff when they are released? I think I'd rather do that.

Edit: Can we even pre-order in Europe? Or have I misinterpreted this post? I think we just have to buy within the first 2 weeks of release and then pay for the Playstation Plus to get the goodies, right?

I'm quite surprised at the positive response this has had from my fellow Europeans. I appreciate it's probably out of JAW's hands so I'm not blaming them. But fuck whoever was in charge of this at Sony, Playstation Plus clearly isn't selling well in some territories.

Yeah, you can buy the stuff without PS Plus, I believe, but it will cost a bit of dosh. I don't think we are able to pre-order though - since there's no real pre-order incentive. Sony wants us to get PS Plus instead.

We've tried really hard to ensure that people get as close an offer as possible, though. I appreciate it's not exact, but we have moved the price to as close to 1:1 as we could, along with making the Alf Mission available beyond the initial period - it's free for Plus subscribers for a two week period when Alf launches, for example.

So, again - we appreciate that it's not exact but we've done what we can. It's still a pretty good deal, we think.

The way I read it, you get the stuff for free if you have a Playstation Plus subscription which costs about 7 Euro for one month. In return (at least I assume) the game itself is actually a tiny bit cheaper in the EU than it is in the US.

But... in total someone in the EU still pays more than the US for the same content (36 dollars vs 30 dollars). Which brings me back to what I was initialy afraid of; the offer is not the same for everyone. I understand this is not JAW's fault, but it's still bullshit.

I saw no mention of pre-ordering in the EU and since the game isn't listed in the EU store 9 days before release, I assume it won't be an option.

Anyway, do you guys have any more info on what the Steam deal will look like? Will we be able to pre-order it there, all content included?

I don't think we can. Instead of pre-ordering and getting the bonuses we get them free if we have PS Plus.

In the US/Canada the bonus is an incentive to pre-order and in UK/EU the bonus is an incentive to get PS Plus.
