Considering he played like 10-15 years ago, those instruments were pretty good. Not as good as ones with active mics and stuff but still pretty good. He modified the sound using our equalizers and stuff so it was pretty good.

Well I understand the good and bad qualities of instruments. The instruments listed are not the best but they're pretty good. But I guess you only use the best instruments :3
