Soldiers are not working class, since classes are reserved for civillians.

A soldier usually rakes in about the same amount of money as a working class citizen. Some, such as specialists and snipers, bring in a bit more. But usually no more than a comfortable working class office worker.

A sergeant, officer, general, leutenant, commander, and beyond would bring in the equivolent of a middle class civillian to upper class civillian. Sergeants would be the lowest in that order.
