Oh okay, thanks. Can you please tell me why Yuki is such a little bitch? He cries at everything and for some reason doesn't like the thought of being with a hot psychopath. Is he mental?

You better believe the answer to that is directly connected with my last post. Seriously.

Future Diary is one my favourites, mainly because the amount of detail into every character. Even characters that I thought were side characters would end up having a backstory to them that felt genuinely interesting.

:

You may want to avoid images of Yuno (And Yuki, Deus and hell just about the whole show) floating around the internet if you don't want to get the spoiler equivalent of anal rape.

Stay far far far away from spoilers. I mean, that's common sense, but this show in particular you will want to keep spoiler free.

Wings of Fire 02-09-2014 03:50 PM

It's one of those 'The ending changes everything' shows

I wouldn't go near calling it 'Great' but Yuno who is wonderful.

I saw The Lego Movie over the weekend and it was fantastic. Best animated movie I've seen since Toy Story 3. The animation was gorgeous, literally looked like a Lego world come to life. The script was well done too, lots of laughs, topical (but tasteful) references, and a delightful cast of characters to deliver the goods. Certain scenes were downright transcendent too. I might even call it groundbreaking... probably isn't though. I just don't watch many films.

But regardless it was an awesome movie. I could see anyone enjoying it. Unless they hate joy and fun.

Nepsotic 02-12-2014 11:57 AM

I just finished watching Future Diary and I cried like a little baby. Seriously, I don't think I've been this upset at a TV show since the tenth Doctor regenerated.

MA 02-12-2014 12:37 PM

was there a dog?

and does it die in the end?

Nepsotic 02-12-2014 01:11 PM

I don't want to spoil it for you that the dog dies so I will not tell you but yes it dies

Mr. Bungle 02-12-2014 01:18 PM

I, too, saw Marley & Me.

Wasn't that sad.

MA 02-12-2014 01:27 PM

actually i've never seen it. i just heard all the crying at the time and sort of worked it out.

Wings of Fire 02-12-2014 01:32 PM

I know of two shows where the dog dies at the end and both are heartbreaking.

Nepsotic 02-12-2014 02:03 PM

Please can you tell me them so I know never to watch them? And Jesus, I still can't get over thst ending. Imma go make Yuno my avatar now.

Slog Bait 02-12-2014 02:19 PM

Hey, you guys remember that one episode of Futurama? The one with the dog?

Yeah.

Wings of Fire 02-12-2014 02:20 PM

But shows that break your heart at the end are the best kind of shows.

Manco 02-12-2014 02:22 PM

Things in which dogs die:
  • Old Yeller
  • All Dogs Go to Heaven
  • Oliver and Company
  • Futurama
  • Terminator 2
  • Korea

Wings of Fire 02-12-2014 02:27 PM

Fullmetal Alchemist, Dennou Coil, Dog of Flanders.

Nepsotic 02-12-2014 02:27 PM

Or we could just all go to www.doesthedogdie.com and live happily ever after. (It only does films though D': )
Fuck, I'm still torn up about that ending... help me?

E: Speedy shit. A dog dies in Fullmetal Alchemist? Welp, that's definitely off the list now.

Slog Bait 02-12-2014 02:32 PM

NO YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT IT'S SO GOOD

Also jesus fuck I completely forgot about the dog thing in FMA

Phylum 02-12-2014 02:48 PM

Hey I watched a film this one time and a cat died. That was pretty sad.

Manco 02-12-2014 02:56 PM

Cats are dicks though.

The dog dies near the start though, so it's all okay.

Now if you want a series to watch with a punishing ending then I gots a list.

Slog Bait 02-12-2014 03:10 PM

Give us all of them.

MeechMunchie 02-13-2014 03:36 AM

Wow. And people mocked me for having the temerity to play a visual novel.

I saw a cat die in a film called Drag Me To Hell. Never again.

Cats are dicks though.
This is false.

Cats are adorable. Regardless of how much of a dick an individual cat can be, getting loves from my cats can make my day.

Nepsotic 02-14-2014 07:46 AM

This is true.

sick fuck.

Job McYossie 02-14-2014 05:08 PM

I just watched a movie called "Suicide Kings". It was alright. Not bad, but I don't want to watch it again. Basic story is a group of friends kidnap someone important, thinking that the person they kidnapped kidnapped a friend of theirs. There was one character put in for comic relief, and he was rather enjoyable. At a few times he reminded me of Frank from the old T.V. show M*A*S*H. The movie is worth a look, but unless you're into mobster-like movies, you probably wont be enlightened by it or anything like that.

:

sick fuck.

I'd resent that, but I don't feel like it.

Nepsotic 02-17-2014 04:11 PM

I just watched James and the Giant Peach for the first time in about 6 years, it was even more horrible than I remember.
