They look like mushrooms. But green, exotic mushrooms.

Varrok 01-18-2013 09:04 AM

No. No, they don't.

Nepsotic 01-18-2013 09:05 AM

Yeah, mushrooms can look like anything. Have you seen them? They're really weird. Nice, though.

The Giraffe was won for me on a claw machine by a friend while we were in France~

Crashpunk 01-18-2013 11:29 AM

I have a Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Mario, Luigi, Wario, Ratchet & Clank and Sonic plushies. I really should post them sometime.

Mr. Bungle 01-18-2013 05:15 PM

I have a bunch of video game / TV character figurines from when I was a kid that I have sitting around. Maybe I'll post some of them sometime, too.

Manco 01-18-2013 07:07 PM

I have a tiny Metal Sonic figurine that sits just under my monitor. It's adorable.

Phylum 01-18-2013 07:24 PM

I can't find my camera, but this guy has been sitting around my monitor for months now.

I forgot to put him away last time I had a girl over, which was a bit embarrassing. She gave me a look, although I think she was more concerned with herself for being at the house of a boy who has Bionicle figures sitting around than anything else.

Mr. Bungle 01-18-2013 08:03 PM

I used to have a bunch of those. Weren't they part of McDonald's Happy Meals or something?

MeechMunchie 01-19-2013 03:50 AM

Yeah, they were.

Slog Bait 01-19-2013 07:27 AM

Bionicles were the shit

Varrok 01-19-2013 07:30 AM

Yeah, they were.

MeechMunchie 01-19-2013 03:13 PM

I've still got a stack in the cupboard somewhere. Like all Lego, you can't throw it away in case you suddenly need to build a crane to rescue a drowning kitten or something.

Mr. Bungle 01-19-2013 03:42 PM

My parents gave all my Lego away.

I think I have the same one somewhere, if you mean the Classic Metal Sonic and not the one from Heroes

I know that feel, bro.

Anyway, I need to gather my cool stuff and take a photo and put it on this motherfucker.

That's just plain stupid. My parents loaned our Lego to our much younger cousins, but it was on the explicit condition that it be returned for eventual grandchildren to use.

yeah how's that working out

You've got a sister or something, I think.

The box is in the playroom at my mum's place and has been played with several times, though my niece is only three and generally prefers Duplo.

MA 01-20-2013 05:30 AM

be wary when lending out Lego; you'll find the amount you have steadily decreases over time. don't ask me why it does that, it just seems to do it.

Vyrien 01-20-2013 05:59 AM

Bionicle was awesome, a little part of me mourned when they got discontinued.

Crashpunk 01-20-2013 06:16 AM

Bionicles and Bayblades were my childhood toys. I used to have all of the original Bionicle models and those ones that rolled up into a ball. Those things were amazing.

MeechMunchie 01-20-2013 10:18 AM

Bohrok.

http://hero2004.free.fr/Bohrok.jpg

It was downhill from there, as far as I was concerned.

Crashpunk 01-20-2013 10:59 AM

YES I loved those! I had the brown one I think, I recall him being the rock type.

Mr. Bungle 01-20-2013 03:11 PM

I used to have a bunch of Bohrok, and that weird evolved form of Bohrok that I don't remember the name of.

MeechMunchie 01-20-2013 03:13 PM

Bohrok-Kal.

When I was into it, I was really into it.

Phylum 01-20-2013 03:39 PM

I followed it up to the Rakshi/Toa of Light ark and I have a big Makuta sitting in a cupboard somewhere looking amazing. This one

They really lost me at the Toa-Metru and Metru-Nui. It was the classic combination of their shit writing and me aging.

Sorry, I think this is my competitive streak.

Mr. Bungle 01-20-2013 03:50 PM

I used to love reading the comics as a kid, too. Then the whole Metru-Nui thing where they seemed to have forgotten that they were in the middle of a flashback really turned me off.

Steamer_KING 01-20-2013 05:12 PM

So, since I'm in college, this is all I've got with me:
