Mars quickly pulled from underneath him exactly what he expected - A juvenile whoopee cushion. Real mature. Suddenly, Mars was aware by psychic powers that someone insulted his hat. Incited, he scanned the crowd, watching, and completely ignorant that the pies were being sold.

[bd] "$10k!" Pilluk roared, just in time.
"$10k bid by Pilluk. Any other offers?"
"Eh, 14k."
IC: "$14k $14k! If you say it fast, it sounds like a lot! Anyone want to bid more?"
$15k
[ta] "Huh, this is quickly gettin' too expensive. But I need somethin' to eat!"
[bd] "$16k, and that's my final bid!" |
"$16k! They must have a lot of sentimental value! Anyone else?"
"Eh, after some calculations, there's a while I can go here before I won't be making a profit, no higher than 17k though."
"$17k $17k! Will the bidding never end? Here's hoping. Do I hear $18k?!"
Pardonez moi sur le doublé post.
IC: "Going once, going twice..." (last chance to bid) |
Keeeep looking. He's here somewhere.
no way... i would never bet that high...
"We looked everywhere but he could not be found. Anyway, we have a winner with $17k! Next is an extremely rare script of last year's blockbuster hit, Reservoir Slogs. Shall we start the bidding at $2k?"
OOC: Here is the latest status of the auction. (Apologies for the red squiggly lines. Silly Excel) |
OOC: YOU ARE FORGIVEN ALEXANDER. FOR NOW.
IC: There he was! That Vykker! Thankfully, he was right next to Mars as well (OOC: Where are we sitting? Or are we sitting?) (IC), giving him an idea. Mars carefully raised the whacking part of his hammer with his foot, [sa] and dropped it on one of the fiend's feet. "Oops", Mars said rather sarcastically. |
"No bids for this fantastic script? Very well then, $1k!"
I'm saying 10.
"$10k! Can anyone top that?!"
Sorlag thought in his head "i dont need any of this stuff, im here looking for firepower for security at our new food factory"
i looked at mars "i have to watch ut for him" |
IC: Again thinking of scalpel work, he was disturbed by some annoying mudokon dropping a hammer on his foot. Rubbing his foot silently, he glared at Mars for a short time, before slowly whipsering "Watch your step," ïn what seemed a very omnious tone. Looking back at what was being offered, he saw the script for a film. It may well have sold well, but Ez somewhat doubted it was a good purchase. What would he do with a film script? He might erase the script, and write something else on it, but that would be silly. 'Although it would be fun to bid just enough to make them bid more, and then chicken out and let them waste their money. But I had better save it for the good stuff...' he thought.
"Last chance at $10k. Going once... going twice..."
(last chance to bid) |
11k!
[ac] "You've made a powerful enemy."
"15!" |
"$15k! How unreal! Any more bids?!"

IC: 'Looks like I did not have to bid anything at all. Ugh, that mudokon again,' thought Ez, trying to come up with some cunning way of making him lose the bid. It would only serve to make Ez feel better, but that was pretty much the point to it. Looking at the hat for a short while, he knew he shouldn't, and yet he could not resist. Quickly making sure the mudokon's attention was elsewhere, as with the rest of the audience, Ez swiftly and quietly jammed the mudokon's hat down over his eyes, hoping it would get stuck. Just as soon as he had done it, he dashed off, hoping he would not cause a ruckus.
OOC: Just in case you're wondering this is yet another sabotage. A somewhat minimal one though, as Mars can still talk. |
$16k, hopefully I'll still be winning as that will be my second won item!
FIEND! I SHALL GET YOU...Once I...oh god, I can't get it off.
"$16k! Wow! Any more?"
"Going once... going twice..."
(last chance to bid) |
