Hey guys!
For the last two days I've been very busy :) Like literally 16 hours per day. I extracted all 34 textures of the Sloghut 1027 out of NifSkope (If you tell me it can be done at once I will punch you! :)) I then imported the .obj models in 3ds max and assigned each texture to its correct poly and made some adjustments in the mesh in the progress. Here are some screens, don't know yet what I'm gonna do with the models but I'm sure I will figure out something fun. For the record, These are not just screenshots of the sloghut loaded into NifSkope, these are imported models in 3ds Max :) Extra notes: I know the transparency on the fence is shit, gotta redo that :) Also, the door is indeed missing, It still needs to be added as its a separate part, for anyone interested you can find them in the Munch Oddysee "mechanics/door" folder. http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1295903183 http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1295903186 |
I extracted all the textures about a year ago if you want em... took forever clicking on all those little flower icons. Now if only we could figure out how to edit and create our own playable levels in Munch.

That's some EXCELLENT work there Tim. Well done.
Any progress? I'm itching to know :D
Fred, are you planning on finishing the rest of the models anytime soon? Or has this been abandoned?
This really sounds good. If someone starts doing new MO levels, that would be really nice.
If you can make the slig and other models available for use as player characters in the old Unreal Tournament, you will realise a childhood dream of mine.
Or someone could rig them as Quake 3 models.
And now Quake 3 Arena is basically free, that's probably the better option.
Actually, I don't believe you can have custom models in Quake Live.
Shit.
Quake 3 is still a brilliant game with a fanbase.
I won't comment on it's quantity, but it's certainly there. |
