The awesome thing is that, while Stranger's Wrath only supports the 360 controller, Munch's Oddysee supports everything except the 360 controller. You'll have to use a third party program to get the 360 controller to work with Munch, as mentioned previously in this thread.
You don't need a third party program - Microsoft supplies the neccessary drivers on their website.

As far as I know, the 360 controller is fundamentally different from all others in regards to certain functions, either being the thumbsticks or the triggers. Can't remember exactly what the deal is, but unless a game specifically supports the 360 controller, I'm pretty sure at least some of its functions won't work.

No, just go to the Device manager, and disable anything that says game controller in "Human interface devices" or something like that.

As far as I'm aware, if a game is "Controller Enabled" pretty much any gamepad will work with it, including the 360 controller. Even if it isn't, third party software like Pinnacle can still allow you to use a 360 controller with games.

Just thought id let you all know that Apprently the hd updated version of stranger for ps3 will be making its way onto the oddboxx, replacing the current xbox version.

munch's oddysee is ported really cheaply, it's a torture to play it with a keyboard, stranger wrath is kinda better port.
AO and AE, don't see any difference really...

To be fair, I'm yet to see any platforming game ported from a console that isn't torture to play with a keyboard. I was telling people months ago that they should invest in controllers for MO.

I've been using a 360 controller and all the functions work. The only detraction is having to use the directional pad for camera movement.

Played a bit of MO, I agree, it was horrendous. Might buy a controller for it. AO and AE are the exact same as the original PC versions, yes? Well, it's just as bad. This might be because I'm used to the playstation, but using the keypad for gamespeak felt very awkward, and I died unfairly because of it more than once.

Blame the controller, not the gamer.

Yeah I've just finished up playing through AO for PC for the first time - the GameSpeak is pretty different and difficult to get used to, but eventually you'll be fine.

I can't believe I let my anticipation for the Oddboxx make me forget quite how utterly shite Munch’s Oddysee is. Even allowing for the awkwardness of it being a port, it’s just really, really infuriating and depressing.

Im pretty sure thier facebook counts as official.

Anyway I hope you dont have to pay for the update. If it comes as standard for new oddbox downloaders (I assume) then it seems kinda wrong for us to get charged extra.

like other people saying it, mo crashes in the first part of raisins cave, sw wouldnt open, and neither would Ao or AE, to be honest, im a little dissapointed with it.

Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath are, to my knowledge, currently only available in english.

I think there's a language update planned for the future though; you could contact JAW for further details.

AiN, the Italian translation will happen early next year. Remember if you purchase it before the end of the Steam Holiday Sale you get 25% off.
