How dare you accuse an excellent, contributive member such as Ridg3 of not taking this seriously! What the fuck?
EDIT: Due to Carnix. |

I give up trying to work out what you people are talking about.
I'll assume it's all spam and threaten you all with bannings. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! |
I would jump in a mine cart and wheel it over to just in front of the paramites then tie a meat bag to the inside of the mine cart (so the mine cart doesen't run over the meat bag) then i would give it a push and watch it roll down the the opposite side of the slig's(so if the patrol was on the right side of the cliff then i would roll it down the left) then i would hide in a nearby bush and quickly take over the leader slig of the patrol then order them to walk the other way calling out words to the patrol to mask the sound of the mine cart and if someone thought they heard something i would shoot them instantly and say they were spies and once i was far enough away and the mine cart (and paramites) were no-where near the cliff i would order the sligs to stop and do one of the following: 1.if i wanted no-one to act like it was an accident i would order the troops to stop and take my own life (yes with my gun if i blew his bits everywhere it would be suspicious), 2.I would kill all the sligs and then blow up.
How did i do? |
Conveniently forgetting 'Lay down minecart tracks' along the way. :p
|
you dont need minecart tracks to roll a minecart down a hill
|
point taken you don't need tracks the mine carts were only ever in Necrum mines and made loud noise anyway
|
i already wrote how to mask the sound
|
How long has it been now? Does he have a winner?
|
I'm sure slig44 is going to post the winner soon. He has as much as a busy life as the rest of us.

has this thread stopped???
|
It had until, unfortunately, you posted in it.
|
Oops lol jokes i know the guy and he said he's going to post tonight
|
Sorry, OW fans!!!
so sorry to you all, I've been super busy:fuzemb:... to make it up to ya guys, I've added something a little more exciting....ly..er............... you get the point :fuzemb:
every two or so questions I'll ask a speed question. These will be general knowledge questions based on Oddworld:fuzgrin:. First to answer gets the fuzzle! This doesn't make up for anything really. once again I am terribly sorry:fuzemb:. Foreshadowing, the 2nd quiz question answers (boy. that's long) had some mishaps to it. It was difficult, but in the end the winner of the 2nd question is... Mr. Spandexpants!!! Congrats, you've won the second fuzzle, Jack the ripper-fuzzle!! :fuzmad: The next question will come up in a few short weeks, now for a speed question!!!! When you start abe's exodus, there is a broken piece of pipe. When you crouch down, there is a secrret level. HOw many mudokons are in this secret level. |
EDIT: what a stupid post.
On-topic: There are three. |
:
EDIT: @ Enchilado: lol, you got it just before me because before I posted, your post wasn't there. You just got it a few seconds before me ... |
:
Once again, congrats, Spandexpants! Good to see this thread's still going. Welcome back, Slig44. ~Blessed be |
I think you'll find the answer is in fact 15.
Once you get those three passed the electric wall there are 12 more depressed mudokons in some tiny cells that the first three help you save. If it's any consolation MM, it means you're no more of a loser than Ench, who also got it wrong, and no less of a loser than Carnix, who hasn't yet learnt the difference between 'loser' (person who loses) and 'looser' (person who sets things loose). Also, I apologise that I am not my usual cheery, PC self in this post. I have a cactus in my throat, a boulder in my head and a jellyfish up each nostril, therefore demonstrating that even though I may know the right answer to an obscure piece of trivia about a computer game that no one's played for 10 years, I'm a loser, too. |
Fuck. I don't even count those guys as they're completely pointless.

~Blessed be ..And best of luck with the man-flu. |
Thanks. Sorry for being all grumpy.
I know it's 15 'cus I used to have a demo of AE before I got the game, and I liked it so much that I spent ages on it, even though it only had the first two tunnels of Necrum Mines (I was about 9 years old). Trying to sap every bit of fun out of it that I could, I became deeply interested in working out how many mudokons could be saved on the demo (it didn't yet have quicksaving, which made those fifteen mudokons agonisingly difficult to reach). Eventually I got the full game and the rest, as they say, is history. |
I had the demo long after AE was out (2000 or so). We also had demos for Dink Smallwood and Age of Empires, along with a few crappy games I don't remember. They probably came on a demo disc, but I was only seven and don't really remember.
I too spent ages playing it. I'd never played AO, so it was all I'd seen of Oddworld, but I loved it so much. I was thrilled when dad bought me the full version :D . @Carnix: Looks like you learn two things today. "Everyday" as one word is an adjective meaning "commonplace" or "ordinary". If you're talking about how often something happens, you use two separate words: "every day". ;) |

I imagine the two of them are attuned to each others' sense of humour.
