Definitely... they should be aware that there are some very creative minds out there that would love to toy with a level editor. So if they start building a new engine they should definitely keep that in mind.

Guys (I'm going to get flamed with this) you have to realize they just can't make games like AO or AE. MO was imperfect, but still overall a good game. We need to be more creative with the technology we have.

Perhaps one last 2.5D game as Abe's last adventure. But for the rest of quintology and other games, we need something new.

1- for it to come out AT ALL!
2- game play like AO and AE in 3d but better then MO.... it was an odd game to play..... i heard somebody call it "chunky" game play XD
3- i think abe as the hero again would be awesome but at some point i want another hero to be made.... like the albino slig or Fangus or SOMETHING! XD but maybe after they release the first new game....

i dont know... but i think that they will come out with something good... i just with the mmorpg game came out.... tho, a regular rpg would be great... pike good or evil (native/industry) and have different paths you can go on in the game so that the game play dosnt get boring.... but now im typing to much XD I'll stop NAO XD

I want story continuation, nothing else. I don't care if I have to play through levels of Pac Man to get to the next CGI movie, I want to know what happens with Abe.

I just want to see more of Oddworld planet, new envıroments, new specıes, new lands.
And I would be happy ıf they would do a prequel, maybe story of BıgFace, or even get back to the poınt, where Glukkons were natıve, and lıved ın peace wıth Muds.

Hope that J.A.W. has the talent to make an oddworld game.
Hard to know what they are capable of with their only released title being a stylised arcade shooter.

Indeed as mentioned before story, sound and atmosphere(world, character designs etc) will need to fit and give the same vibe as the wonderfull work done by OWI.

I miss Elum. I'd like to see him with Abe again. He should be a more important character. I want to see smarter AI in the future too. The cut scenes should be more interesting and funny like in the old Abe games.
I like AO and AE just like everyone else here, but I get tired of playing the parts like the Mudomo vaults, and the Brewery with the rooms full of doors. It might just be a pet peeve, but it gets tiresome to me because I get anxious knowing how many sections I have to go through. I'd rather just have a straight continuous path, rather than going back to the same room full of doors.
And I would NOT want a prequel!

i wouldnt mind a prequel, as long as its something new, and it features muds or sligs, thats all i want (also, i'd like the sligs to be slightly more intelligent, like in MO, not like AE/O where they just say, freeze! i'd like proper comminication between sligs and other characters.)

I just want Oddworld to be able to accomplish want they want in their next game, instead of their dreams being cut short by funds, technical difficulties, or the evil publisher that is EA.

I think Oddworld would make a good RTS. I would like to see that. Put Hand of Odd back into Production. I demand thee!

Nope, can't say I'm too excited by the idea of Hand of Odd any more... I rather have another game based on the Stranger Engine.
