I prefer carefree happy go luckyness to despair.

Great job, man, great job. |
'Popular location for suicide' made it sound like it was a holiday resort.
I know some guy who got killed by a riot. Sometimes I swear he's still around.

Do you think dead family watches over you
No. I think that they're dead.

Check. Nate pointed out, the bitch. |
I think ghosts do the ghost dance to scare people, dancing to FACK
Paranormal Activity and Paranormal Activity 2 are proof of the existance of these supernatural mofos!I never had any unpleasent experiences with ghosts but If I would have I think would shat brick....They're just plai nscary...Low temperature...Foot steps..Doors closing by themselves...
Paranormal Activity sucked.
balls - why yes, yes it did, anyone gonna see Rec2, saughta similar, oh wait no, no its not

It sucked.
I rather liked it, but I was high as a kite on energy drinks.
Then that's why you liked it WoF! It sucked,
It did suck. Actually I take that back, it was okay.
I mean, if you consider the budget and how much box office gross they raked in, yeah it's okay... My response might have been more gracious if they didn't try to sell it to me as thee scariest movie ever made EVER. Some parts were kind of eerie, but I think it came one or two films too late to the whole "homemade video" style movie craze we've been on as of late. |
Agreed, not much action, just a bedroom really.
BOO !

I thought the acting in Paranormal Activity was really bad. And also, the guy had like no reason for wanting to film so much. It took away from the experience and made it seem unnatural. In Blair Witch the girl had the excuse that it was the only thing keeping her calm.
Also if the couple from the movie were real, and I met em, I'd probably hate them... or at least hate the guy because he is so willfully stupid. I hate movies where characters are willfully stupid, and make stupid actions for no reasons. I find it lazy on the directors part for not being able to make it seem more natural. Blaaargh!! Also, the movie didn't scare me at all :( I like being scared. Hm. |
Willful stupidity in any narrative is one of my biggest peeves. It's especially bad in horror movies.
One of my favorite examples to cite is when the protagonist is being accosted by some demonic or supernatural entity and calls the police. He/she then proceeds to tell the dispatcher exactly what's happening, expecting them to believe the story and send help right away. It never occurs to them to... I dunno... concoct a more believable testimony to ensure that the police do arrive? Also, the iconic scene in Pan's Labyrinth in which Ofelia eats one of the Pale Man's grapes after being explicitly told not to. Argh! |

She was a little girl who hadn't eaten for one and a half days. She didn't think she would wake it.
I don't care. That was fucking stupid on her part. I know if I ventured into a fantastical world I didn't understand, I would make no assumptions. If the fawn says "coma absolutamente nada", then I would coma absolutamente nada.
I laugh at the idea of ghosts. mainly because Most haunted it a joke.
Yeh but that guy is a twat proven wrong!
