The Clakker design doesn't annoy me too much, but it would be nice if they looked a bit more...unique, rather than just resembling giant chickens.

This has always bugged me too. I know it's Oddworld and everything, but feathers for fingers is just stupid.

so ... ummm yeah i found this whilst looking for updates in citizen siege and found a fan made trailer... and a comment that was rather interesting. i think i bit of me died.

There’s a lot of bullshit about Citizen Siege, and a lot of it was created by some prick going by the screen name USA02. Can’t be sure this is his work, but rest assured there is not a word of truth in this description. If a bit of you dies, make sure it’s because you are so upset that some jerk would make this bollocks up.

But more importantly, this has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

Also, i think its pretty damn obvious that Barrack Obama becoming the servant of the devil has nout to do with oddworld. Though its still early days.

We don't talk shit about Dr. Seuss around here. We don't do that unless we want fists growing from our teeth. Dr. Seuss is awesome and I don't think that the need for realistic scientific terminology was weighing heavy on him as he wrote stories about little people who had an entire ecosystem going on while living on a dandelion.

That's another thing I've been meaning to talk to someone about. The Whos are impossible on several biological, chemical and physical levels. Not to mention that ponds and other things involving water could not exist at that scale due to the properties of water tension.

Also, they wouldn't need lungs.

The clakker design didn't really bug me. I mean, i didn't really pay attention to the whole fingers are feathers things, because for oddworld, it just looked natural to me. The outlaws though, are GODLIKE! I bought a xbox just so i could play stranger's wrath (i play MO on 360) and i bought the actual game five years before getting a original xbox, just staring at the box....

In other news, what year would you guys be expecting a Oddworld movie or new games? 2010? 2012?.....

I don't care when anything comes out,I just hope OWI can take their time on a future film or game (I'd mostly want a new Oddworld game though). Bring up some unused concepts, or add a giaganitc splatter of new creativity. Whatever it is, SOMETHING has to be made with detail and art.

Those are very unlikely dates. Back in March 2007 Lorne was hoping for a 2010 release for Citizen Siege, but that was kind of optimistic even then. Development hell hasn’t done anything to prevent the putting back of that date.

so basically its 2010 for their next project then ... so far anyway.

God, just be patient. 2010 is a likely time to hear some news, with 2011-2012 being a time for possible release. It really isn't that far away considering how long it's been since Stranger's Wrath was released. Do you want them to suddenly announce a game has just been put into works right now, then have them release it in the Summer? That'd be a shite game. I want them to put some real work into the project. It'll be worth the wait.
