if you don't want the responsibility of moneymaking/repairing things there is always Fable |
Yay for Pre War Books! They get you an awesome 100 Caps per book! I already turned in about 15 :P.
|
Do the same for Brotherhood of Steel holotags ;)
|
Thanks, wow that was simple.
Game is tonnes addictive, and it's cool to find things like caravans, prefer slightly more linear games, but it's still great, and I guess offers alot for those who want it. Holidays are comming up soon, so I'll have heaps of time to play it. I have a feeling I'll be seeing the same brown all throughout the game though, much like the constant oblvion green, but owell. |

The Citadel. You get into it during the course of the main quest. Once inside, go to the A Ring, then down the pathway to your right should be some computers and scribe people. The one with a unique name will pay you 100 for each holotag.
I only have 1 more achievement to go. Level 20 with an evil character. edit: THIS BRIGHTENED MY DAY :) |
Bah, I hate the bugs where the people you have to collect stuff for disappear...
So far I lost Walter (stuck with 54 scrap metals), the BOS holotag scribe (wasn't even there!) and the person you see when you turn in the fiingers... |

at the Museum of History. The finger bitch will go outside for some reason, if she is not killed by the radscorpions she will run off. I found her at the edge of the Scrapyard . The old man is just dead, stupid twit. 0 |
Just finished the main quest... the end is a bit... well too abrupt
|
:
What old man are you talking about? Oh, and finished the game... The point of no return sucks. Make sure you do all the quests before you get there :P. |
DLC is coming out which allows playing after the main quest. No idea how they'll work it into the story, probably some cop out where you wake up on a hospital bed recovering from radiation sickness or something.
Anywho, I haven't played this in a while, as I've done pretty much everything, all achievements, 3 level 20 games of good, neutral and evil karma, etcetc. I'll play this again in 6 months when I've forgotten how to do everything. |
They're changing the ending. 4chan told me so.
|
:
That would be pure magic, as you turn into a puddle of goo when you turn on the machine in the end... As seen in one of the clips in the ending, where Lyons is watching you through the glass... |
I have a question, though I'm not really sure why I'm expecting anyone to give an informed answer.
I'm playing Fallout 3 on the PC right now but the longer I play the more I really sense this game was designed for consoles. Am I right in this and will I have a better experience if I start this over on the Xbox? |
I really enjoyed playing it on the xbox 360, that's for sure...
I'm also using VATS a lot, keeps the play unstressful :p |
Eh. I almost used VATS exclusively. I'd actually run back a room and wait for my action points to recharge.
Oh and 90002 of you can go die in a sewer. |
Finnished the game, loved it, sure it suffered from a few simularities from oblivion (NPC's are a little lifeless, 3rd person sucks), it is much better than what I had thought it would be, and there are so many little things to do.
If only you could discuss backstory with the companions, but owell. I was thinking, maybe *spoilers* your character would instead be ghoulified, therefore, you still get the cons from the sacrifice, but you also remain alive, and if you don't like being a ghoul, and kill the girl instead, you arsehole. |
