Salamander- You don't even know who that is. Try harder.

Indeed, I don't. But I didn't do it because I had an opinion, I did it to prove a point, no more, no less.

Anyway, I've been listening to a lot of Muse lately, namely Knights Of Cydonia.

OANST 10-16-2007 12:09 PM

Unfortunately, you proved nothing. Except that you're spitefull.

Your logic is wrong, I quoted YOU, so what does this say about you? How am I the one who is spiteful? I used your own words to teach you a lesson, the spite stems from the source, from you.

Regarding the topic at hand, Rock is my favorite type of music, usually up-beat rock.

Rupture Farms 10-16-2007 09:52 PM

Off-Topic: Guys, although your little argument is so mind-blowing-ly, intriguingly interesting
(*cough* *cough*), it doesn't have much to do with music.
I'm not a mod, but please continue your little fight in PMs, because I'm sure there are at least some people who aren't interested in it.

On-Topic: Does anyone like Cannibal Corpse?

Xavier 10-16-2007 10:30 PM

Not sure anyone cares but I'm currently listening to plenty of Therion, plus my sister bought the last Epica and the last Nightwish and they are pretty descent.

and +1 to Hobo for attending Dream Theater and Symphony X

Hobo 10-17-2007 12:30 AM

Symphony X were badass man. Shouting contests between audience sides ftw.

Yes I am a mindless drone.

Leto 10-17-2007 12:47 AM

Holy fuck I love screamo. Like I put it down before just because, you know, crap connotations. But Christ on a shit, it's great.

On-topic: No one likes Cannibal Corpse, not even Cannibal Corpse.

Nemo 10-17-2007 07:12 AM

<3 Gigi D'agostino's "La Passion"

Kimon 10-17-2007 04:06 PM

Exactly. You held a grudge against me and then tried (unsuccesfully) to throw my own words back in my face.

Spitefull.

We could argue this for a long time without resolution, I suggest we quit before it get's worse. I'm prepared to stop if you are.

My brother made the vid. The song is by Coheed and Cambria and it will stay in your head for days.

Leto 10-18-2007 05:26 PM

We have resolution. I won. This happened before we even started. :)

Take that smiley any way you want.

My girlfriend has been listening to a band called Pinback. They are all right but very repetitive.

used:) 10-21-2007 04:13 PM

I've been listening to a LOT of modernist classical music lately. Really just Charles Ives. Gotta love dissonance.

I have also recently discovered the greatness known as Sparklehorse.

OANST 10-21-2007 05:44 PM

Sparklehorse kicks ass.

Mac Sirloin 10-22-2007 04:02 PM

Did I neglect to metnion Tom Waits is fucking epic?

OANST 10-22-2007 04:07 PM

You did. How very foolish of you.

OANST 10-23-2007 03:54 PM

Sorry. I have to double post.

Has anyone downloaded the new Radiohead album yet? You can go on their website and pay them any amount that you choose and download it immediately. Pitchfork says it's an improvement over Hail to the Thief and I usually agree with their reviews. I intend to download it tonight.

ziggy 10-23-2007 06:19 PM

I shall check that out soon...So ya TVOTR's Return to Cookie Mountain is still amazing, obviously.

Leto 10-23-2007 08:12 PM

New Radiohead is pretty good, and I would buy it if the only way to get it wasnt a big set of cd/vinyl and such for 90 pounds or whatever it was.

Along the same lines as Radiohead, the new Sigur Ros release got leaked on the net pretty recently (mines already preordered, so I was evil and downloaded it). I love this band more than you.

Dude, Radiohead is selling the new album on their site as a download for any amount that you wish to pay for it.

Mac Sirloin 10-24-2007 06:40 PM

Can someone answer a question for me?

When did the circulation of CCassette tapes end? (when did they stop making them)

And when did cds first become available?

Dewd, I meant as a physical copy. I like actually owning albums I enjoy.

Deuwd. Stop owning me. I'm embarresdicated.

I agree. I prefer having a physical copy. In this instance I don't want to wait and since the download is legal and through Radiohead I'm going to do it.

Deuawd.

Leto 10-27-2007 08:46 PM

Dwaued?! Duwadnem!

Wikipedia is all you need to seem smart. : D I mean, even my stupidity of copying the second link along with its white background is overlooked when I seem so fly.

Even the stupidity of me talking about the whiteness and it disappearing as soon as I post it is overlooked! Because wikipedia makes my brain seem raaaaaaad.

edit 2: sorry this is just rediculous: http://www.oddmusic.com/gallery/om22000.html

Bitter Buffalo 10-28-2007 11:48 AM

I've been listening to The Kingsmen. Very inspirational.

Fluid 10-29-2007 02:14 PM

tool anyone?

Mac Sirloin 10-29-2007 05:07 PM

My friend showed me this band called Lordi, I love 'em.

Salamander 10-29-2007 09:22 PM

Wow, I just heard the original 'Land Of Confusion' song again, it wasn't as good as I remembered it to be. I think I'll stick with the Disturbed version.

I want to buy the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus album, but it's been difficult to track down.
