One assumes that it's Narcissus.

Albino-Slig 06-30-2007 06:23 PM

Most of my year group at school had left at the age of 13-14 because they were having children from their masses of one nigth stands O_O Now I'm 19 and I see them still having one night stands and piling up more and more kids that they don't love. It's qutie sickening.
Persoanly, sex only with the person I love.

Fortesque13 06-30-2007 06:35 PM

That is..........................unrepliable.

But I replied! I conquer everything!

mitsur 06-30-2007 07:28 PM

I'm getting tired of Patrick just posting an image as a reply. It's totally dull and dosen't contribute anything at all, just like this post.

And yes, I believe it's Narcissus from the story of Echo.

Alcar 06-30-2007 08:09 PM

Patrick is having a stab at Havoc - about his overly large ego :p

Look up Narcissus in Google, or Wikipedia - what have you.

EDIT: For Christ's sake! Where did all these posts come from! They weren't here when I responded!

LOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Tragic hilarity.

Flamefox 06-30-2007 09:40 PM

it that fella who fell in love with himself as a curse or something.

mitsur 06-30-2007 11:20 PM

The story of Narcissus is a man who is reknowned greatly for how handsome he is. He goes hunting one day, and, when he stops to drink from a pool of water, sees his own reflection in the water. Not knowing it's his reflection, he falls in love with it and stays with it forever and eventually dies of thirst, animal, hunger, etc. depending on what version you hear.

At least, the one I've read is like that.

Nate 07-01-2007 12:26 AM

I thought he wanted to shag his reflection so much that he jumped in the pool and drowned.

Patrick Vykkers 07-01-2007 02:39 AM

Mitsur, get a stick outta yer arse. Ever heard of the phrase "A Picture Speaks 1000 Words"?

Nate 07-01-2007 04:05 AM

But 1000 words takes quite a bit less time to download...

ON-TOPIC: Mmmmm... sex.

ON-TOPIC:mmmmm...No wait! Not yet! I still haven't found the ONE! And I don't like Nate's idea of having sex...

:fuzconf:How can he die of animal? Unless he got attacked or something by one.

Havoc 07-02-2007 08:16 AM

Well if he fell in love with a horse or anything he woul... never mind...

How could he die of thirst when he's staring into water? I DON'T THINK THIS STORY IS TRUE!!!

Fortesque13 07-03-2007 08:04 AM

OMG! Why don't we just say he died of hunger because he didn't want to part with his only love... the reflection.

Judging by that thread Hobo created, he's a narcissist...:D

Alf Shall Rise 07-05-2007 12:27 AM

I voted for the first one. You should only do it when you are in love. Thus, answering that I have never loved anyone that much.

Hobo 07-08-2007 12:06 AM

Bump.

Um, topic firewood...

Sex is awesome.

Bitter Buffalo 07-08-2007 02:31 PM

Sex is something truly magical that was set aside for when a man and a woman become one in a life long, commited relationship. At least that's what my mom told me.

Havoc 07-08-2007 04:01 PM

Parents tend to tell lies like that to prevent young boys from banging their sister cuz you know... everyone hates their sister at that age and becoming one is like the last thing you'd ever wanna do...

Okay what?

Anyway, if you're gonna wait for the true love then that would mean you won't have sex untill you're at least 25 because before that time the odds of you getting a steady relation are like... 0.
Heck I bet half of you guys are going to think it's special in a whoooole other way once you've done it. Boy are you gonna feel stupid for waiting XD.

LadySlig 07-08-2007 04:44 PM

Nice, ah well, It'll happen one day, unless of course I am hit by a car next week or choke on a pea. I dont really know what to think of it. 50/50 on my part, still, I'll wait for marriage.

toxicity 07-13-2007 10:18 AM

sex? Like when a man and a woman... EWWW!!

Rich 07-13-2007 10:32 AM

Love is pretty rare these days. Just get shagging.

Leto 07-13-2007 04:08 PM

Rich = win. You're not gonna find love (even if you think you have), just appease your leghumping instincts.

Call me Super_Fag, but my sister was my best friend from a very early age.

I couldn't agree more. :p

Fortesque13 07-13-2007 06:58 PM

At first I was "WTF!?", then I realised what you meant...
Nice one. I'm gonna laugh for hours now.

That's fairly morbid, but I tend to agree. However, I'd rather live a life of false love than live a life without it.

Alcar...

used:) 07-15-2007 05:58 AM

Isn't that fairly self centered though? If it's false, than it's more about you and plus, it's lying to your spouse, which is even worse. Why take a life of false love?

Patrick Vykkers 07-15-2007 02:07 PM

Well, I'm planning to lead a life with only one love.
