I read it. It didn't seem too hot to me. But I think Halo is pap.

Havent played it that much so far, but I've had most of my fun in the forge. The campaign in epiiiiiiiiic, and thats even within the first three levels I've completed (...on easy). It's like an exploded version of Halo 2 plus superpretty lighting.

Only SPOILER I have so far is that Cortana is an annoying bitch.

It has all the fun of a dishwashing detergent I assure you.

Okay, as far as I know, Halo1 was awesome because it's just that awesome, halo2 is cool because of better AI (you can sneak up behind an alien and kill it with one smack, but if he knows you're there it'll take more to kill them), but the storyline sucked.

Halo3 is mostly dead to me now, because it's mass advertized. I hate overly advertized things. That's why I gave up on pokemon when I was 10. I pronounce it wrong just to spite the people who still like it.

The only thing I'll probably like about halo3 if the storyline sucks again, is the online multiplayer. That's the only way me and my family communicate. teamkilling because mom said to clean my room? I'm in.

All I think halo2 is good for nowadays is online multiplayer, and kickass parodies. You guys wouldn't mind if I posted them from time to time, would you?

Seriously? On easy? You need to step up to Heroic. They were right, this IS the way it should be played.

True, every Reviere I've seen says that Halo 3 is for both the Noobs to the series and the elders.

So, Normal and easy are the easiest Normal and easy modes in the series, while Heroic and Legendary offer the most challenge.

I ordered Halo 3 today, should get it tommorow. Did I miss a very big chunk of story if I didn't play Halo 2? I read up on wikipedia but I dunno... I guess it will become clear during playing.

The ending movie is about 5 mins...not including after credits etc.

Reading up on Wikipedia should be enough, and there's a gap between 2 and 3, bridged by s graphic comic (the plot of that should also be on Wikipedia).

Hopefully I can scrounge enough to play there, but no doubt my housemates will have surgically attached the console to their frontal lobes for more absolute hogging.

Still, I love the player customisation. I checked HaloWiki for some others awaiting acquirement, and some of those are awesome. Including that classic Mark V armour from CE, and a spiky samurai one not dissimilar from the Elite's Combat armour. Fortunately, my favourite is the CQB helm.
