Tennesee, where I want to live.
|
Moscow, where I want to live. Again.
...Well, this is fun. |
New York City, which I predict will go down in flames in a special event
in 2015. |
Wala Wala.
|
Poland, where my family came from.
Also, this is a bit late, but I thought you might be Russian, Skillya. You look it :p |
...Oh.
And considering I had an avatar that said "Do Not Gabble/Gossip/Blab/whatever" in Russian. Ukraine, where my father comes from. |
Colombia, where I was born.
Well, I can't read Russian, or recognize it for that matter, so I wouldn't have known that. |
SOUTH AMERICANS! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Or wait, do you mean Columbia the city? Or is the country spelled with an "o"? |
Technically, I'm not South American. I'm 100% European. I was just born there, is all. And yes, it is the country.
|
Oh.
OK. I'm 100% European too! Yaaaay! EDIT: Aw, come on. It used to be more fun when we were leading an off-topic conversation on the sidelines, now we're just naming random countries and our associations with them. |
Awesome! European Pride! Whoo!
|
Darn my combination of an English/Russian/Spanish/French speaker which gives me a weird accent.
|
Oooh, you have an accent?
Unfortunately, I only speak Polish, English, and some French. |
Yes. Well, you can't really tell at first, but when you're almost quadrilingual, it gets difficult.
I only know how to say Good Evening in Polish. That's it. Oh, and I forgot. I know a few words in Dutch. But I still can't form sentences beside "Where is something" or "What is something" or "When is something" or "Who is someone". And I can tell the time and date. |
Haha that's freaking awesome :D
I wish that I could speak some other languages, but if I learned any more, I'd probably begin to slowly forget the ones I've already learned :p |
Yeah, that's the problem. I'm having the worst sorts of problems with Russian, I mean, I understand it well, but I have a feeling I have the most awful accent, and sometimes I can't remember simple words...THOUGH I REMEMBER THEM IN OTHER LANGUAGES! That is so frustrating. Forgetting my native language........................
And what really gets my goat is that my friend who's been here for just as long as I have and is also Russian, and she has no accent at all and has no problems speaking. /whining |
That is so weird because I have the same problem! I forget some of the simplest words in Polish and I feel that I don't know it as well as I used to. It really bugs me.
And wow, we really kinda started spamming the crap out of this topic, didn't we? |
Yeeahh...we should get back on topic....
Still, you know what? I think that we should have a thread that had the properties of a normal conversation, where we aren't required to stay on topic and when the discussion can go any way it has to. But that would immediately be closed. |
Definitely, before the admins close it or we get warned :p
Anyways... Snapple. |
Makes me wonder why I never bothered learning fluent german. It can come in handy.
Edit: Answer: Apple Snaps or however you spell it. |
