Beat this one!
In the general store in the first Clakkerz town, walk around it - you will find a fortune telling machine. Press X near it and you see a movie clip of later segments of the game, ie: the future. I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet actually... |
Yeah, I remember that.
It has parts with the battle at Last Legs and so on, doesn't it?. |
Uh yea... but that's not really an Easter egg.... =/ i think...
|
Yeah, I think it's just a secret bonus or something like that.
|
Nah, it's not much of a secret Drew. Sorry.
|
Kinda recks the whole game, but it's an aright idea I suppose.
|
I thought it was a bit silly, quite frankly. Almost like it was trying to copy Prince of Persia but it didn't even help the gameplay.
|
The first fortune telling machine that i came accross was the one in New Yolk City, it had the clips of of Gloktigi and i got scared.
Apart from that and the Grubb idol and a few hidden chests, i havn't found anything. |
It is considered an "Egg" anything that doesn't nessecarily have anything to do with the game but is either:Viewable and has a certain text Interactive:Like the fortune teller
An example of an "Egg" Would be the scrab gun in Halo 2 or the elvis newpaper in GTA or the giant Easter egg in Max Power. |
... If you search various online dictionaries for "easter egg", the main thing that seems to crop up is that they are put in as a joke.
I don't know about you, but I don't find this particularly funny. I think it just counts as a hint. |
I'll tell you a good Easter Egg example: (not Oddworld, unfortunately)
Tony Hawks UnderGround 2: Boston Level: Smash through one of the Windows to see the famous Star Wars Kid and his cardboard tube. |
... Fairly irrelevant in this Forum then.
There, I've said it (and rather politely if I say so myself) and no one else needs to put their two cents in. Unless you really want to. |
*tumble weed rolls past*
Wow this section is so empty that your last post was the most recent for ages... I guess Oddwolrd Forums really are slowing up eh? |
