FUCK YEA! How was it??

It was amazing! Before the show, they played clips of Un Chien Andalou, then ripped into a few b-sides, followed by Doolittle in its entirety. They even had short films playing in the background the for each song on Doolittle. After that, they went off stage and came back for the first encore, and played two more b-sides, one of which was a surf redux of Wave of Mutilation. I can safely say that was the most chill, relaxing experience I've had with music. Finally, they left again, and, for hte second encore, played Bone Machine, Where is my Mind, and Gigantic.

I almost cried during Where is my Mind, it was amazing. Highly recommend that anyone who is reading this goes to see them if they get the chance.

I found out about this composer by reading the obituaries in the newspaper. I have yet to listen to more of his music, but it so far sounds good.

I used to like Slipknot a few years ago, when I was 14 and full of angst. Also before I discovered "real" metal. Fear Factory is also an awesome band. Just giving my opinion.

Well done for posting my favourite song ever. EVER.

I saw him a few weeks back and he does the most kick ass live show. So so thankful to his audience. He's funny and an excellent musician to boot.

Also; he played Earth day, which had me in a seizure for 9 minutes.

No problem. Have to say that I'm insanely jealous that you went to see him, he's on my list to go see before either him or I kick the bucket. Hyped for Deconstruction and Ghost as well.

Turns out I'm pretty much addicted to Devin and he has to be probably the most innovative artist I've ever heard. It doesn't even sound as though I'm listening to a metal song when I listen to his work, just art appreciation.



EDIT: Holy shit Bungle, you're right. The guest artists are the tits. Akerfeldt, Ihsahn and Dirk Verbeuren. This album is gonna explode.

I actually haven't heard very much of Devin Townsend's solo stuff. Only a few songs. I absolutely love this track, though:

I'm telling you, his solo work is a lot more better than Strapping (IMO anyways.)

Definitely one of modern day's greatest musicians.

So I've heard, but City is a fucking amazing album. I'll check out his solo stuff soon.

Insomnium released their new single. Any fears of the album being not as good as the last album has been demolished. It sounds better, they just keep improving.
