MeechMunchie 04-03-2012 06:27 AM

Just keep saying 'No' then.

OANST 04-03-2012 06:46 AM

Okay.

MeechMunchie 04-03-2012 08:39 AM

But you didn't say 'No', that time, did you?

Dynamithix 04-03-2012 09:08 AM

Shut up already.

New trophies for Arkham City suggest a story DLC.

Disgruntled Intern 04-03-2012 11:06 AM

Even though it's already out, I'm not picking my Star Wars Kinect/xbox bundle until tomorrow, so I'm pretty psyched to play the game.

For your sake, I hope it's better than the reviews say.

Disgruntled Intern 04-03-2012 04:01 PM

Well I'm getting the bundle for the xbox, so if the game sucks it's not like my entire reason for the purchase will be ruined.

Mr. Bungle 04-04-2012 02:30 AM

There's a new Star Wars console game out? You're not talking about Old Republic, right? Thought that was PC only.

Wings of Fire 04-04-2012 02:37 AM

See bits and pieces thread.

sheridanm962 04-04-2012 03:00 AM

See my blog, what a weird coincidence...? or is it? for now... Or is it?

MeechMunchie 04-04-2012 03:03 AM

Posted it in Bits 'n' Pieces too. Peter Molydeux of Lionhead fame led a massive throng of indie developers to create 260 short games based on the random requests of their livestream audience. MolyJam will never happen again.

I thought the setup was that the games were based on tweets made by @petermolydeux, a Twitter account made to parody Peter Molyneux?

MeechMunchie 04-04-2012 09:25 AM

Okay, you take this one. I just skim-read the article and reposted it. I'm not majorly interested myself.

OANST 04-04-2012 09:33 AM

Way to cover for your lack of reading comprehension skills, you big fucking stupid wrong person.

MeechMunchie 04-04-2012 09:53 AM

Neither am I. Patrick Klepek, one of the organisers, is part of Giant Bomb, and he discussed it on the podcast last week.

It stuck in my head because the title is a beautiful pun.

One journalist said: "Playing the preview code of Botanicula made me so happy one of my legs fell off."

Disgruntled Intern 04-05-2012 09:17 AM

Very pretty. Reminds me a lot of ilomilo.

OANST 04-05-2012 09:19 AM

Ilomilo was great.

MeechMunchie 04-05-2012 09:36 AM

It's made by the same people as Machinarium, in case you couldn't tell.

OANST 04-05-2012 09:38 AM

I'd love to play it, but they aren't releasing it to consoles.

MeechMunchie 04-05-2012 09:49 AM

Yes, because this is clearly the most demanding piece of software ever developed for the PC.

Presumably you've got other reasons, though.

OANST 04-05-2012 09:53 AM

Nope. That's my reason. I don't play games on the pc.

Dynamithix 04-05-2012 10:06 AM

You're missing out on good games then.

OANST 04-05-2012 10:07 AM

Meh.

MeechMunchie 04-05-2012 02:20 PM

The reason I was inferring was that you didn't use your PC for games because it wasn't very powerful. While that's fair enough, I did kind of find a flaw in that logic for this particular game.

EDIT: And Dyna, I don't play games on consoles. I'm pretty sure your comment goes both ways.

OANST 04-05-2012 02:23 PM

It really has nothing to do with power. Our home pc is powerful enough to play any game on the market. I just find playing games on the computer to be uncomfortable.

MeechMunchie 04-05-2012 02:25 PM

That's also fine. It's just the way you said "That's my reason" made it sound like you were agreeing with me.

OANST 04-05-2012 02:30 PM

When you said "demanding", I actually thought you meant "difficult". But no, I just don't play on the pc. Although, I'm going to have to make an exception for the Double Fine Adventure. At least it's just point and click. I would have a nervous breakdown playing something that demands skill on the pc.
