Lets say something relevant to the discussion! kapteeni13 your winter level is nice although the brown stick objects are a bit distracting, you should use collision lines IMO. I think the next version of the editor will have better collision line placement.

Yep, worsest thing is pointed out of level. http://www.oddworldforums.net/images...icon12_odd.gif I just have to wait until "real" collision item stuff can be added to level... and if i remove/delete sticks, walls disappear and it's possibly fall off level... always goes wrong T_T until i start dragging one already collision items ingame... http://www.oddworldforums.net/images.../icon1_odd.gif

Next editor version could have option to hide rolling ball stopper stick sprites. :confused:

Kapteeni, I remember you managed to make paths out of trap doors by simply moving the sprite away from the actual object. Can't you do that again with the wooden sticks?

I have started to make something random with Editor. http://www.oddworldforums.net/images.../icon3_odd.gif Some screens are made simply and one screen is used from Abe's Exoddus Demo Beta Area:

Added sticks to avoid falling. Only thing i added to this image is that red line :)

Here's the lastest version of my underground/sewer/bunker/whatever level, there's a surprise inside, something new :D... Still uncompleted, the last screen is the one with a meatsaw and a slig... Enjoy ! ^^

My level is finally completed, there was just two little part missing in the last version, but this time, I removed the first screen "hoist", and abe's bird portal from the second, a new secret, a little "stockyard" teaser... ^^

Am I the only one who can't get the download link to work?

I played through it, I assume the end is when you use the platform to get outside? When I walked to the left the game took me to the Stockyards.

This is your most amazing work yet skychase! How did you come up with the idea for that shrink door!?

Just a couple of complaints though :-

I think you should have made this screen much easier with a sign or something, took me ages to figure it out!

Thanks a lot, I took the Shrink door idea from Tomba! 2 on psx. Look at 9:00



And sorry for the slog part, I got so used to this trick that I put slogs without even thinking about it... but I think there's another way to get rid of them, it takes longer though.

It looks awesome, I dunno what you're using to make your backgrounds but it might be worth knowing they're 16bit colour in game - not 32 bit. So if you make them in 16bit colour they should import without looking too dithered.

How did you align them perfectly?

Was the CAM originally just one big image which you then split up for the separate screens?
