Rest In Peace Chi. One Love.
|
|
Here's something to lighten up:
|
You guys hear about Chi (former bassist for Deftones)? RIP. I think the lack of him is the reason why the last couple Deftones albums have been a bit of a step down compared to the stuff that he was actually on.
This one is probably my favourite Deftones song. Gives me chills. Such immaculate production. |

TWENTY TWOOOOO
THE AVENUEEEEE IT'S THE PLACE WHERE WE ALL GO Lovely song/album, spacey and emotional. |

Disappointing, but that's okay. At least you have a Devin Townsend boner of adequate girth.
|
Speaking of which, I'm off to see him again, hopefully, next month. This time I'll have my face beside his face captured forever in one of those pieces of devil paper.
I hope with all my being that he plays this; Or Deadhead, either or, maybe both? And new EToS; |
Ahh, I still haven't fucking seen him live, jealous. And yeah anything off Accelerated Evolution would be jizzworthy. My favourite of his albums.
Imagine if he played Bastard, though... Omfg |

Yeah, it was my go-to jam when I used to get stoned with my friends back in high school.
I remember finding this video particularly moving during one of my first highs: HURT ME I CAN TAKE IT |
:
But the album I was on about was Ocean Machine. Stoner Album. |
Oh, yeah definitely. Soothing, but ferociously groovy. But I feel like the same thoughts could be applied to AE, the last three songs on their just put me in one of the most positive states of mind ever.
Sunday Afternoon is bliss. All this Devin Towsend. It's like 2011 all over again haha. |
The great outbreak of 2011. Except now we have SteamerKing all up in on the action.
EDIT: But we lost Hobo :( |
RIP. Let's all jam Bastard and Funeral in memorium. Seems like something he would've wanted.
|
No need for that, I'm here.
Here's a random personal fun fact: on the album Alien by SYL, select Two Weeks, Thalamus and Zen. Now, put them on endless repeat by this order. They connect so massively good it hurts. You can relax for a bit, get anxious, break Hell and relax again, get anxious, break Hell and so on. It never gets repetitive and it just suits the style of Devin. Ahh... |

Chill.

Nice! Always great to see another bro who appreciates some solid hip-hop.
Did you hear the news, by chance?? |
:
|
New Daft Punk. Pretty great.
|
|
Man, I haven't jammed Billy Talent in years. Red Flag and Worker Bees used to be my muthafuckin' jams.
|
Mr. Bungle, Ridg3, Slog Bait and Varrok, you four should check these fuckers:
|
We're singing part of a Wagner opera in choir.
I think I picked a good spot to autostart it. There was a better bit a few minutes before but I lost it, and if I used it I probably would have lost your attention. I'd really recommend following the entire overture with a score if you can. It's awesome. |
Megadave's new tune and I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. It isn't speed/thrash and it doesn't really have a 'Deth vibe to it but I don't know. Maybe if another band did it, it would be a brilliant song but... I don't know. |
It's somewhere from 'medicore' to 'good'. Not megadeth-good though.
|
|
Anyone considering FlashBlocker yet?
|
Quiet you, I love this song.
|
I think it's still better than most of the music nowadays
|
I like the new guy.
