Are you absolutely sure it's not an issue with medication?

Mr. Bungle 04-01-2013 09:08 AM

I've been watching episodes of Veep. It's really funny and an interesting look at US politics (something I know nothing about, so maybe it's completely unlike reality) and just how corrupt they are. I'm sure they exadurate tons of things but it doesn't look like they're too far off on a lot of things.

Anyways, clever, funny show, good writing, excellent acting (especially Julia-Louis-Dreyfus and Tony Hale, those two are too funny together) with a nice amount of satire to it. I like it.

No. But I haven't been on medication in a really long time, and still it persists. It only happens if I've been having a lot of sex in the previous couple of days, though. If not, I fall somewhere between half an hour to an hour.

STM 04-01-2013 01:10 PM

Half an hour isn't so bad. I thought it was common for one to take longer to orgasm if they've been doing a lot of sex though?

Mr. Bungle 04-01-2013 05:27 PM

So is this the "OANST's orgasms" thread now?

Bullet Magnet 04-01-2013 06:44 PM

So long as one of us has just seen one, it's on topic.

Kinda hoping that person is OANST.

Spartacus. 2 more episodes and the franchise is over. And I don't care what people say, I love it.

And since I'm a nice guy, I used spoiler tags for the latest episode. Crixus is killed, Stabbed in the back then gets beheaded.

I'd like to say that based upon my experiences watching the season 3 premiere of Game of Thrones and the Season 3 finale of Walking Dead I feel exactly as I did about the books at this stage: Walking Dead is a poorly written adolescent fantasy where you don't care about a single character (except maybe Carl) and instead of progressing the show continually sautees in its own juices at just how fucking clever it is for being so edgy and grim. The episode was interrupted right before the end just so that the network could draw it out a little more as some people from the show verbally fellated it while clips of people killing zombies with GOD DAMN CG BLOOD effects.

GoT on the other hand, well, season 3 is supposed to be about half of book 3, Storm of Swords. They packed so much into the opening episode without killing someone off, reverting to that NOW CUTAWAY TO LOUD SEX SCENE habit or giving away too too much of the plot to those unfamiliar. And no CG blood whatsoever.

Overall Game of Thrones Series 3 is off to a good start. There are several characters that I like a lot such as Jon Snow, Jorah Mormont and Tyrion Lannister. The interactions with characters are really tense and you never really know what will happen by the end of a conversation. It's happened before where people chat and then suddenly one of them will reveal a massive development in the plot or will kill or injure the other person. Definitely feels like a huge project both in terms of time and money.

I think Walking Dead was pretty good at the start of Series 3 but sort of lost it's direction by the end. We had characters like Oscar, Axel, Andrea and Merle who each get their moments to shine but they don't really go anywhere with a few exceptions. There is certainly evolution with characters such as Daryl, Carl, Glenn and Carol. Rick's sanity break is a great addition and proves that these situations really do affect people in profound ways. I think the lack of a direct confrontation in the final episode got fans riled up and from what I hear series 4 will be a lot less about action.

I've also been watching Veep. It truly is a great show. I didn't think it would make me laugh out loud but a lot of the time it has sort of an Arrested Development feel to it, which I love.

You saw Saw, so could you say which Saw you saw was the best one you saw? Was it Saw, or the Saw you saw after you saw Saw, or the next Saw, or maybe the Saw you saw next? If you have the favourite Saw, please say so
