I always lump Brink and Rage together 'cause they were both decent-looking shooters that wound up being mind-numblingly boring.
Well, I haven't actually played Brink, but I've heard from multiple people it was very boring. Just like Rage. ID just doesn't have it in 'em anymore. |
I feel the same about Rage to, thankfully I only borrowed that one.
|
It's the driving in Rage, isn't it?
|
The driving in Rage was actually alright. The game itself was so bland though.
|
Brink is the worst game I've ever bought.

Playing Quantum Conundrum now. It feels... OANST-y, if anyone can understand what that means. It's got the common elements that run through the games he likes - Seussian wacky decor, childish irreverence etc. Also it has this: http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/...43BA95E65BA36/
But now I'm stuck, barely out of the first level. |
IT HAS MOUSTACHES?!
*buys* |
I was reading an article about it like five minutes ago. I'll buy it when it hits the 360.
|
It's pretty obviously been designed by Ms. Portal, too.
|
Is it funny (in a witty way) like Portal, though?
|
Reviews say no. The fact that Eric Wolpaw isn't involved says no.
|
I haven't seen much yet, I'm afraid. It's okay.
The scientist's uncle was a US astronaut employed to replace Sputnik with a basketball. |
That doesn't sound funny. It sounds stupid.
|
No. It sounds effective.

Playin a whole shitload of PSX games because I'm just sleazy levels of rad.
Metal Slug X: A really rambunctious fuck-everything Heavy Machine Gun toting game whose memory is 75% sprites of high-res explosions. I like it more than XX and 7 on the DS, just gives me a better feeling overall. Basically the end-all be-all Metal Slug as far as I'm concerned. Front Mission 3: It's like Final Fantasy Tactics but you are a robot- -and there's millions of dialogue and cutscenes. Not very far in but it seems like just what I was after. Thanks Strike Witch Digimon World. Never played this bitch when I was little but apparently everyone goddamn else did. Watch the opening cutscene a little. I think that's Izzy from the first season's voice too. Anyway it came highly recommended. Fun game, basically Pokemon but faster. Tool around with your stupid lizard monster pal, beat up wildlife, eat meat grown from the ground, make sure your Digipal doesn't digidump outside of the digishitter. Cute game. Everyone should have a PSP. Best rose tinted glasses money can buy. |
I have a PSP. I only use it for PSX games. I should really play it more.
Anyone know if the Vita will be able to play PSX games imported from a PS3 like the PSP does? If not I hate Sony and that's stupid. And yeah, Digimon world was a fun game, but it was fucking strange. I never did get too far into it as a kid. It's like Pokemon on acid. |
From what I can gather it's been 'Coming Soon' for awhile. You can always use remote play I guess. Otherwise apparently the system requires jailbreaking to play them.

Did I say I finished Halo? Well, I did, and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to play Halo 2. I've started playing Psychonauts. So far it's not like anything I've played before, and that's a good thing. I really like the characters because they have such quirky charm and personality, it's almost like one of the good cartoons from Cartoon Network.

I bought Kameo: Elements of Power from the Games on Demand service on Xbox 360. It was one of the launch titles for it. It's alright, I don't really get what's going on and how can the main character turn into elemental monsters but it's alright.
I also finished Halo (Anniversary) with a friend on Legendary. The Legendary ending was funny. |

I figured out why I like Halo games so much more than the likes of Call of Duty: they do a really good job of making you feel like a sci-fi supersoldier. My favorite thing is how big and open the environments are, and how much freedom you have moving around it. And how enemy positions and tactics are based around this, but your freedom allows you to effortlessly manoeuvre around them and really get up close and personal – I love sprinting round a corner, punching out a few Grunts, drilling an Elite with a rifle before punching him out too, then taking a few potshots at the next group before ducking back into some cover while your shields recharge. It’s fast, frenetic and fluid – and fun. |

It gets really fun when you get a large amount of elemental creatures. I won't spoil anything, 'cause I don't know how many of them you have, but they get really kickass later on. |

I like to imagine that every time Strike Witch uses a tilde, she sits in front of her computer just saying that last syllable for hours.

Creeper!

Started a new game on Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon.
One of my all-time favorites. I love the skateboarding mini-game. |
