OANST 10-05-2012 07:50 AM

Yeah....... I doubt I would like it.

Nepsotic 10-05-2012 08:01 AM

High octane action thriller? What's not to like?

OANST 10-05-2012 08:04 AM

Bad writing, and acting I imagine.

Wings of Fire 10-05-2012 08:06 AM

You absolutely can't complain about one of the most acclaimed action movies ever having bad writing if you haven't seen it. That's just dumb.

Sekto Springs 10-05-2012 10:52 AM

There are some movies that just don't look like they'd be worth your time. The Die Hard films definitely fall under this category. I finally watched one of them (I forget which one), and was pretty bored. Considering I went in with low expectations, I could have been pleasantly surprised, but I wasn't.

But I wasn't complaining about it. I was stating an assumption that I have which keeps me from watching it. I have no idea if the movie is good or bad, and have not stated an opinion on it either way. It just didn't look like it would be good to me, so I haven't watched it.

GLaDOS 10-06-2012 10:17 AM

I just saw that Lego Star Wars series on Cartoon Network, well the first two episodes, it was funny, the fact they were made from lego added humour as well. Also that Exit 9B Regular Show episode, that was good.

While I'm on this topic I'd like to add, yes I really only ever watch cartoons at home, maybe other stuff like Doctor Who.

OANST 10-06-2012 10:22 AM

Just as a sweet 12 year old girl should.

Nepsotic 10-06-2012 12:26 PM

She's 10, get it right, man.

Dynamithix 10-07-2012 01:37 AM

Watched Men In Black 3 with my dad yesterday. It was alright, better than the second one, worse than the first one. The beginning was a fucking snore-fest, it got better when J travelled to the 60's. It still wasn't a movie I'd pay to see in the movies.

GLaDOS 10-07-2012 03:35 AM

10 with an 8 year old voice.

Oh by the way guys, I just saw this:

http://vimeo.com/50597841

I couldn't watch it on Youtube because I'm not from America, It's great, I know I'm only 14, but I remember most of the shows. Just watch it if you like Cartoon Network it's good. In fact even if you don't just watch.

Sekto Springs 10-07-2012 10:38 AM

I posted that on my facebook recently. I loved it.
Cartoon Network's most recent "look" seems very LSD-fueled.

MeechMunchie 10-07-2012 11:01 AM

I saw Looper. It was pretty cool.

GLaDOS 10-07-2012 12:05 PM

Just watched two episodes of Misadventures of Flapjack after seeing some of the people who worked on it, such as:

J. G. Quintel (Creator of Regular Show)
Pen Ward (Creator of Adventure Time)
Pat McHale
Cole Sanchez
Kent Osborne.

It's pretty funny.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqfoK...eature=related That's the theme, I doubt it'll work as my links never do.

Nepsotic 10-07-2012 12:15 PM

Why don't you just embed it?

GLaDOS 10-07-2012 12:21 PM

I embedded your mother. Lolwut. How do I embed?

GLaDOS 10-07-2012 12:51 PM

Yes, I can understand now,

Oh I watched that Ben 10 Omniverse thing to see what it was, and it was horrible. Disgusting in fact.

Die Hard 1 is excellent.

Die Hard is my favourite film of all time. :tard:

:

But but the third one

Okay yeah that film was great. In fact all of the original three films were great. Why did I say otherwise? :O

My sister showed me a few episodes of Louie over the weekend. I was really impressed. Louis C.K. had a sitcom a year or two ago that was really generic and unfunny, bland even, but Louie is really good. It's not so much a comedy, although it can be really funny, but it's not so much a drama or a documentary either yet it's still all three and more. It was well written, realistic and just generally kind of a different viewing experience than what I'm used to in new shows these days. You should watch it. I went in girded to dislike it and call it crap, but it's just a really well done show.

The second season is some of the best television ever made, third season took a drop in quality from what I've seen of it.

I saw Looper on Friday, and loved it. The previews were a bit misleading, since Willis really isn't as prominent as they make it seem. Really great character driven story with some good action and a little humor thrown in.

Every time that little kids' face scrunched up I about fell out of my seat laughing. But, yeah. It was a really good movie. I recommend it.

About Louie. I don't know quite what to think about that show other than knowing that it's fantastic. It's the saddest, strangest, most depressing comedy I've ever seen. But like I said, it's fucking fantastic.

Varrok 10-08-2012 01:19 PM

I've watched the first episode of Doctor Who introducing the Eleventh one. I think I don't want to watch the show anymore. Not with him.

OANST 10-08-2012 01:27 PM

I've seen a grand total of three Doctor Who episodes, spread across a few different incarnations of the Doctor. I absolutely hate that show. I think it's some of the worst television I have ever seen.

Varrok 10-08-2012 01:32 PM

You CAN'T say you hate that show until you see at least one episode with this one... you just cannot

OANST 10-08-2012 01:33 PM

Is it worse than the drek I've already seen?

Varrok 10-08-2012 01:34 PM

I believe it's the worst that I have ever seen, and I saw all the 4 previous seasons

OANST 10-08-2012 01:37 PM

Then I believe I'll pass.

Nepsotic 10-08-2012 01:43 PM

YOU CAN ALL SHUT UP RIGHT DOCTOR WHO IS STILL GOOD!!!1!!1one!

You just don't know how to appreciate it...

YOU CAN ALL SHUT UP RIGHT DOCTOR WHO IS STILL GOOD RITE?

It was never good.

Nepsotic 10-08-2012 01:45 PM

How can you not like this?

Sekto Springs 10-08-2012 01:48 PM

I haven't seen enough of Dr. Who to say I hate it, but what I have seen so far was certainly pretty terrible.

Cosmic concepts with a microscopic budget does not equate to good TV. It doesn't even have the kind of charm that usually comes with low budget sci-fi serials. Something about it seems really full of itself, I dunno. I feel like it's one of those things you have to be raised on to enjoy.

I do think the Weeping Angels are really clever and scary antagonists that were never used effectively. I heard that they were finally "killed" in a recent episode, despite Whoniverse canon stating that they are unkillable. If this is true, then there goes the only part of the show I liked.

OANST 10-08-2012 01:48 PM

The stills alone put a bad taste in my mouth.

Nepsotic 10-08-2012 01:57 PM

Alright OANST, please, this one time just put your hatred aside for one minute, and please, I ask you PLEASE watch these teeny tiny scenes.
PLEASE. I swear you won't regret it, I swear.

Well?

Varrok 10-08-2012 02:00 PM

I thought this episode was pretty average

MeechMunchie 10-08-2012 02:03 PM

I got bored halfway through, and I like Doctor Who.

It's a bit of an institution really, like afternoon tea or something. I'm sure the US has an equivalent show. Poland... can Polish people afford TVs?

Varrok 10-08-2012 02:06 PM

Polish people don't *buy* things. I thought everyone knew that

OANST 10-08-2012 02:09 PM

Can it be killed dead now?

Nepsotic 10-08-2012 02:10 PM

Did you watch them?

Can it be killed dead now?

Were the Simpsons killed when they started getting worse?
