well that's not completely true, I still have some nostalgia for a bit of Slipknot, but never got into Stone Sour at all.

I don't like much Stone Sour, they're more "Poppy" than Slipknot, and that showed how they influence the last album of Slipknot.

I'm starting to not quite hate Slash as much as I did. I mean, the guy can seriously solo shred like the best of 'em and I do kind of like his stupid costume. Seeing him play with a big flabby gut hanging out earlier this year (some kind of concert footage, might have been obesity awareness) humanized him I suppose.

Slash is a little bit overrated but he certainly lives up to his reputation for being a solid shredder. Guns 'n' Roses had some seriously great stuff in the 80s/90s, and I owe most it mostly to Slash.

Cannibal Ox is the shit, and I am psyched for their first new album in over a decade. The EP they dropped last week was fantastic, a lot more than I expected from a Can Ox record without El-P production.

I'm glad you did. I can understand someone not digging harsh vocals in a song, but to completely dismiss a song (one of that intensity, mind you) because of them and calling it a joke is just downright ignorant.

Dude, do you not listen to the music I post in here? I love harsh vocals. I listened to the entire song. The guy was running out of steam half way through. I can scream better than that, and for far longer. It wasn't intense, I actually found it pretty underwhelming, and that's why I called it a joke.

Not something I would wall of death to.
